Wlad was clearly a more talented and skilled boxer than froch. I dont think anyone would deny this. In fact, i would probably put wlad in the top 25 fighter ever if were only going by talent/skills. But there is more than talent and skills in boxing, and that's why there's a good argument for Froch being better than wlad, cause he didn't crumble at every sign of adversity.

Ill give you the AJ fight, but the Peter fight is a perfect example example of him crumbling when faced with adversity. Was flopping to the ground everytime peter came close to hitting him. The only thing that saved him was peter mediocrity.

Yes, he crumbled everytime peter had a glipse of success. He was also displaying the same "beaten dog" body language that he did against Brewster. Luckily for him, peter was such a bad fighter that he couldn't capitalise on it

His post-fight career on Sky Sports in the UK has been dismal. He's turned into a shill and a real mouthy cunt. I actually liked him as a fighter. It's his post-fight career that turned me against him.

Last I remember, he was being a groupie to Roy during Canelo-BJS.

Froch doesn't seem to respect any guys, but he appears to idolize Jones.

 

He's horrible on Sky. Genuinely awful. His only redeeming feature is that he clearly hates Amir Khan and likes to wind him up all day, every day.

As I say, I give Froch a lot of credit for what he achieved. But imo he's lucky to have been in the era he was. In that early 90s era, he's a fucking punch-bag.

Froch would be competitive in any supermiddle era as long as he doesn't face Roy or Toney.

Only way Froch would be fucked is if he's around in the late 70s/early 80s, before 168. Meaning, he would have to deal with a lot of guys at 175 who would whup his ass.

He's genuinely not competitive in that early 90s era imo. He matches up badly with almost all of that era. Even Benn, who was a lethal puncher but probably the worst of them, is going to have a lovely day out fighting a guy like Froch.

Those guys near killed one another. There is a big difference between that era and Abraham, Bute and Kessler. A fucking huge difference.
