He's apparently lost the flab as part of Team Canelo. He's not fought since he got past a totally finished Arreola, and had to get off the mat to do so. Could have just been the occasion but he was dropped and nearly dropped again. Hasn't fought since. In the meantime, AJ has lost again. He has, IMHO, NO CHANCE vs Fury or USYK based on his last performance. So what's his next best option?
Hes at a crossroad. Needs a big, or at least a decent, win to get back in the mix. Another losses and hes pretty much done. A fight against a guy like Helenius would probably be his best move
Yeah I was looking at it trying to figure out where to turn next. If you can't make your own magic..........steal somebody elses!! Helenius has a lot of noise {Unwarranted, but hey.......} from the Fatty Kow fights, so he could take that fight. But Helenius is also a tall powerful rangy guy....right now is a lot better than Arreola and arguably better than Arreola ever was.
Ruiz is a pretty average fighter who got overrated because of the AJ upset. He's still a player only because the division is so top heavy. He might beat Wilder now, only because Fury probably ruined Wilder. When Wilder was fresh, I think he would have wasted Ruiz.
And would that fight even come off right now? I bet that Wilder figures he's still such a player he doesn't need the likes of Ruiz. It's ironic: there are so few fights to be made but we can't seem to get fights made.
Pouring cola down the throat of Mexico is the equivalent of giving itchy blankets to native americans it would appear. He didn't lose his breasts naturally though, a hefty tincture of testosterone significantly aided in his reassignment, as team Canelo is a shrewd investor in big pharma so to speak, the proper time for it. With that said, do not underestimate, .....the value of a moderate pouch,....... for it protects the organs from delving body busts, adds a little more meat on the mittens, and as we saw with a sconned Fury in the 4th, it numbs a good skull shock, pinching the tuner as it were.
Not the right moment to go on this kind of tirade. Lots of good fights are getting made in the hw division
It does nought for speed in a speed business, and the similarly proportioned MesoAztecian he fought last time out weren't too fast either and still dropped him.
Proportions, proportions. Ruiz can lose his sugar gliders as well as his milkers, but keep a bit in the middle, govern from the center. Box jumps to keep the toe's twinkling while remaining equipped. ps - When did you become Hut Hut?
No Sir......when did Hut become Irish, mores to the point. Hut became Irish when they made Hut take days off and lose wages and barred him from drinkie-poos. I am not a fatty afficionado. Here;s the thing.........remember the rave-job they were doing about his "Handspeed".??? It's like they know it's the Holy Grail. Handspeed. Gots to have flash hands, otherwise, nots truly ELEET and "SLICK" like what Uncle Bernard says. They tell me Max Kellerman does Good Shabbos every Friday at Sunset, he runs to the Synagogue and says "Yahweh, give the Latins speed of hand, make Maxie a happy boy".
Well seemingly Ruiz has dropped some weight and might just be in line for a title shot once the inevitable splintering of titles takes place.
I think Ruiz could get a fraction of the action. Here's how: 1. The titles splinter- as Usyk, most likely fails to make a mandatory defence. 2. Joshua gets a fraction back by beating Usyk or the rematch never takes place because ______________ 3. Eddie decides that there must be closure between Ruiz and Joshua and that's where Ruiz gets another title shot. 4. Nobody wants the IBF belt or the WBO belt and Ruiz headlines a Canelo card to fight for the vacant title, possibly with Wilder.
Hot bodies. You want hot bodies ! but,.... Point taken. The torah is a powerful weapon, its clarity hammers the mind. Bald boxing4realer: Miranda's just so ripped, how can this be? I'm so deflated. Youtube comments:
No. Joshua came in, fought scurred, dropped some weight, and Ruiz was even more and more out of shape, it was in Saudi. Turns on it's own facts, I am afraid. I wouldn;t make Ruiz any less of a 50% chance in the rubber. Thing is .........it's about right now. Ruiz has got his ass in gear somewhat. Joshua is one rematch defeat from retirement, IMHO. Right now, states of mind, states of body, as I say, Ruiz is no worse than a 50-50 in the rubber.
Provided he keeps his 'rubber' in the right place. Still I think you're being a little harsh on young Broccoli, he can beat ooosk and restore the golden age if he'd just throw dem thangs. Did his best skit when he sugged that 'unequipped' slav to the midriff. He's a simp, but even I, a gladys keyboard warrior hiding behind a moose in a box, knows that you roast ribs when Oosk's head is as illusive to capture as a pie in the sky.
Joshua is indeed a mental midget. He's a big Black version of Plant. Looking for approval. Making noises.
I saw that live and I thought he would take over immediately. He didn't. He just let him off the hook and went back to being beaten in the head. I think he knows now- and may have known then- he needed to go RIGHT to Usyk and whack him in the Gulliver and the zhitnitsa......but Usyk was discouraging him so to speak.
