not at all. i just find it funny how everytime a fighter is in a competitive fight you decide he was overrated.

 

I've been saying Ennis is the best welterweight in the world for the last year.

 

but who says he is an all time great? all anyone says about him is he has no chance against top fighters then he nearly beats them. nobody is overrating him.

do you know the meaning of over/underrated? we're not talking about his rating. we are talking about how good he is versus how good people think he is. that is what we're talking about.

 

Ennis knocked out a guy that had lost 3 consecutive fights going in. Let's not get carried away .

 

I lean towards Crawford against Spence, but it’s like 52-48 for me. Both guys can box but both get hit a lot. Both have vulnerability.

Ennis is the future of the division.

The stream i watched didn't have sound so I don't know what the broadcasters said.

I thought it was close but Bud won the last three rounds before the stoppage.

It wasn't pretty but it never is with porter.

For porter to spend so much time on the outside spoke volumes. Yes he was aggressive in spurts but as the fight wore on crawford was able to tie him up and then counter.

Porters dad did the right thing. It was only going to go downhill fast. Probably not stopped that round but over the next two he would have gotten hurt badly.

 

crawford seems to have heavy hands. but that first kd was all timing.

Gotta say, I’m really disappointed in both Spence and Crawford. Both were so likeable before they became divas.

While I dont like Kenny Porter at all, its not anyone's place to tell Kenny Porter he shouldn't have stopped it.

At the end of the day, this shit doesn't mean anything to us. Meaning Porter and his health. It's his kid for Christ sake. Far be it from me to shit on a dad for not wanting to see his son take potentially health-altering damage... which was coming. I'm not gonna do that. Ten years from now, there's no way Kenny will be regretting stopping it when he did. But if something DID happen to Shawn, Kenny would be drowned in regret for the rest of his life... far after we've forgotten about it. So, no, I dont fault him for stopping it.

My only issue with Kenny Porter tonight was the bullshit "preparation" excuses in the post-fight.
