Nah. That original series was lame, they can keep that.

The Cartoon Network should do a Netflix like platform though. Imagine a Netflix like site that had nearly every cartoon available. From old 80’s shows like The Herculodes to later shows like Voltron or even that gayass first iteration of He-Man. I wouldn’t pay for that shit because I’m a man now but I bet a lot of other people would.

Maybe Crunchyroll, that specializes solely on anime, should expand to what you suggest. Imagine a platform that has EVERYTHING on animation/anime (except for Disney cartoons).*wink wink*

MOTU rights are spread out. I don't think Mattel owns the rights to the FILMATION episodes. Universal does.

Yes, podcast is on spotify. Probably easier to go to iamjoeking.com

I heard it is even more woke AND has less of He-Man too.

Says who? It's not woke. I'd be the first to call it out.

Although I’m no fan of wokeism and people who can find it in a box of cereal, I have to admit this is definitely woke and absolutely has several episodes where He-Man does not appear in them.

A more fitting title for this series would have been Tela and The Masters of The Universe. The show has centered completely around her and she has been the protagonist of the series.

Did you watch the whole thing?! There are 5 new episodes that complete the season. It's not woke.

No I haven’t watched the whole thing but I’m several episodes in and He-Man has been pretty absent throughout. Also force feeding us Teela, her female companion teamed up with Evilynn and an Orko who seems to be gender neutral feels pretty woke so far.

Like I said, I don’t care about the whole wokeness issue and can watch this with indifference. At the same time I’d like you to explain how, for no visible reason (so far) they’ve taken the show in a very feminine direction, made Tela the protagonist, while also excluding the show’s headliner and main draw for most of the episodes not considered woke?

You've watched it halfway and made up your mind lol. I can't help that.

I didn’t say I watched it halfway through nor did I say I’ve made up mind. I said I’m several episodes in and am still invested. I get that you want to say it isn’t woke since you gave it such a glowing review here and on your podcast. It would help though if you would at least attempt to refute some of the claims I’ve made to the contrary.

There has always been a level of power and magic higher than Adam/He-Man, particularly with the Sorceress and maybe even Skeletor. I prefer not to go in depth until you finish the show so that you aren't spoiled. I'd love to discuss afterward.

Kevin Smith confirmed at Comic Con that He-Man is in every episode of the upcoming season. Hopefully it shuts people up.

Well, he blatantly lied about the first season and was called out as a liar, deserving all the backlash he received from fans.
