    He's such a fucking dick.

Even he doesn't know what he's talking about. He says three words about Tank then bangs on about himself for the rest of the article. Oh, and throws shade on Canelo for whatever reason.

I think what truly annoys me the most is that I read it in his slow, disjointed voice where he tries to sound like he's picking the perfect word like a poet, but in reality sounds like a kid with special needs.

I think he will kill somebody, Arek Bordwin or Phil Spector style.

Some young kid who calls to his his house and theres a bit of a crowd and the kid shows Floyd up so Floyd hits him when his back is turned or let's his boys loose on the kid.

I can see it...... Wonderland meets Phil Spector meets Harlem Nights.... all hushed up but Ellerbe fucks it and blabs Floyd out because of decades of pent-up resentment.

It Always Amuses REED When People Say “Floyd Doesn’t THINK Tank Can Beat Elite Level Guys”, to Explain the Overall LACK of Quality in Tank’s Opposition…

Again, Floyd Doesn’t WANT Tank to Beat Elite Level Guys…

Whether Tank Actually CAN or Not is of No Consequence, His Own Promoter Doesn’t WANT Him To, Period…

Walking Up to Tank’s Corner In Between Rounds, Hogging the Spotlight at Tank Pressers and All-Access Episodes (It was Actually SHOCKING Floyd Wasn’t In Florida for the Filming of the Tank-Cruz All-Access), Shit’s OBVIOUS…

Floyd Doesn’t Even RUN His Own Promotional Company, Ellerbe Does…Doesn’t Stop Him from Flexing Like He Actually ATTENDS Business Meetings Though…

Everything w/Floyd is SELF SERVING, Up to and Including All REED’s Stated And Floyd’s “Offers” to Train Various Fighters…Thing Is, Trainers Have to Assume a BACKGROUND Role Which Floyd is INCAPABLE of Doing…EVER…

As Happy as Tyson Fury Was to KO Wilder in Their 2nd Fight, REED Can ASSURE You Floyd was Even HAPPIER…Wilder Was Establishing His Own Brand w/Black Fan Bases, was Undefeated and a KO Artist to Boot…

And Being the Narcissistic HATER He Is, Floyd Couldn’t Stand Wilder For It…

Literally, Floyd Surrounds Himself w/Yes Men Who LAUGH On Que, as If He’s EVER Said Anything the Least Bit Funny…

Back in the early to mid 00s, he and his crew were suspected of trying to run an ex-GF off the road. Luckily she didn’t die there. This was after he criticized Corrales for beating his wife and then had almost had his fight with Gatti (another woman beater) fall apart because of all the domestic violence cases he was facing.

My theory about his notorious relationship with Floyd Sr. is that it’s partially because his dad abused his mom (he always speaks much more highly of her than him) and the cycle continued with Floyd Jr. being a domestic abuser.

He beat up his ex in front of his kids too. In the police report in the 2010 incident, he threatened to kick both their asses if they tried to stop him. His son’s statement was real sad to read.

Roger beat up women too. Jeff seems like a decent, normal guy. He’s the Barbara Soprano of that family.

I have to say Reeds assessment of Floyd is refreshing in its brutal honestly and clarity. Most people know they don't like Floyd but can't quite explain why this is.

I think Floyd is likely a sociopath; meaning NBA Young Boy is still breathing because Floyd doesn't TRULY have loyalty to anyone but himself, his kids included.

Did NBA interfere with his daughter? Or just have a relationship with her?

Flotd actually looks slightly mad now he's older. He's more dangerous than Tyson ever was because he's so insecure and lonely.

Prior to the Barrios Fight, Tank Told Anyone Who’d Listen “I Want Floyd to Work My Corner, Floyd and Coach Calvin”, Which SHOULD Be an Ego Stroke In and Of Itself…

But Floyd AIN’T About That Life; Wiping Sweat Off a Fighter? Removing a Saliva Filled Mouthpiece Every Round? Rocking “Team Tank” Gear?

Nah, Floyd’s SELF SERVING 1st and Always, So it was Better for HIS Ego to Sit Ringside and Walk Up to the Corner Every Other Round, to Draw Attention to HIMSELF, Instead…

Again, Tank Stated Ad Naseum he WANTED Floyd to Work His Corner, But Floyd Had to Do it HIS Way….

But it Also Puts Into Perspective How FULL of Shit Floyd Is When he “Offered” to Train Wilder Prior to Fury 3 or “Offered” to Train Joshua…

Floyd Has NO Intentions of Ever Actually Training a Fighter-It’s Mostly a Thankless, Background Role Which DOESN’T Suit His Personality at All…

But He Likes SAYING It to Assert a Level of SUPERIORITY Over Other Fighters and to Keep His Name in the News…

As I say Reed that's very honest and insightful. It can't be easy making those calls.

Floyd's a dangerous man, in my opinion. He's gotten MORE vindictive in retirement. That's not rare, it's fucking unheard of.

He's just so insecure, he could flip and lash out at anytime over anything, that's how I see him ending up in trouble. He's got buffers but no buffer is gonna do 25 to life for Floyd. But Floyd thinks they will.

I think Wlad is a doofus, an embarassing goof. Joshua is a bit too, a bit Beta. Mike Tyson is just a damaged person but is fundamentally decent. People like Ortiz Ryan Garcia...even Broner... were, are, childlike in their outlook. Oscars an addict with mother issues.

But I can't think of a contemporary great boxer I would trust less than Floyd. He is the type of guy who would break a man's jaw for fun.

I'd trust Hurricane Carter more than Floyd.

Its unusual. Floyd's done nothing yet. His bad deeds have (almost) all been omissions. But he's gonna pop someday.

If Floyd actually hoped Wilder lost to Fury just so Floyd could remain the Poster Boy.... then that's fucking lower than a snakes tits. That's low.

Even I felt sorry for Wilder.

Roy didn't end up like this. Tyson didn't. Hagler, Briscoe, even legit hard cases like them or MSM or that guy who went into the prison to fight, none of them were like this.

Honestly Floyd has that Phil Spector vibe. He just cannot let anyone else be happy. Floyd probably beat up kids at his birthday party when he was a kid himself. Cos they were having a good time. Or robbed his shine.

If/When Floyd Eventually Goes BROKE (Which Most Predict) ,YES, He'll Be DANGEROUS...

    "Money" is His Band-Aid...

Abusive Boyfriend? I Got Money...Carefully Selected Opponents?...I Got Cars...Ducked Manny Pacquiao for Years?...I Got Mansions, I'm My OWN Boss...

    Band-Aid...

So Yeah, If/When That Band-Aid is Ripped Off and the Ridicule Comes With It, Floyd WILL Be a Dangerous Individual...VERY...

Yeah, I could see Floyd pulling an OJ on one of his GFs one day. Not right now, in like 10-15 years when that money is running low.

There's NO DOUBT Floyd Not Only WANTED Fury to Beat Wilder, He Took PLEASURE in the 2nd Fight...

The "Offer" to Train Wilder After Breland was Fired was a Parting Shot...By That Point, the Competitive Animosity Between Floyd and Wilder was TANGIBLE, But Watching Wilder Get his Ass Kicked Wasn't Enough...Floyd Just HAD to Rub it In Via "Offer" to Train Him, Knowing FULL WELL Wilder Wouldn't Entertain It...

"I Could Help Wilder Beat Tyson Fury"...It's Out There for Public Consumption...And Bear in Mind, Wilder's a Fellow PBC Fighter, Yet Even as a Retired One, Floyd Wouldn't TOW the Company Line in That Instance...Couldn't Resist SHAMING Wilder...

A Dude Who's MAYBE Amassed 1/10th of Floyd's Career Earnings, Possessing 1/100th of Floyd's Skill Level LITERALLY Made Him ENVIOUS...All Former Great Fighters PASS the Baton Eventually, But Floyd Hasn't and Won't...A New Baton Will Have to Be Created...

And w/That Said, it's NO Surprise the Likes of Tyson, Roy and Ray Leonard DON'T Like His Ass...

REED Doubts Floyd Attended Birthday Parties Growing Up...Floyd Sr. was Pretty Obsessive About Jr's Training, Not QUITE to an Abusive, Roy Jones Sr. Level (To REED's Knowledge), But it WASN'T Until Floyd Sr. Went to Prison and Roger Took Over, That Jr. Began Having a SEMBLANCE of a "Normal" Life...

He's DAMAGED and INSECURE AF, but @ Some Point, Some Age, You SELF EXAMINE and Look to IMPROVE Your Flaws...Not Floyd...Again, MONEY is His Band-Aid...

Floyd is just proof that money doesn’t buy happiness.

Look at Floyd. All that money. All that celebrity status. All those accolades. All those cars. All those women.

And yet he’s still envious of anyone who has any spotlight. He’s a very sad individual who will hurt someone worse than he did his child’s mother.

The only thing I heard about Roy Sr was he made Roy go in the ocean when there were sharks there. But he wouldn't let him in the same ring with Buster Douglas.

Floyd is a tedious little man, probably the most unlikeable fighter ever. It's frustrating because I love the guy as a boxer, he was brilliant. Usually it's fine and I can separate the art from the artist, so to speak, but the problem is his template has been totally detrimental to the future generations of fighters. With the emphasis on staying undefeated, taking the path of least resistance, waiting for "the right time" (when the opponent is past his best), A-side/B-side bla bla bla. For boxing fans it's infuriating.

I agree too that he is clearly a narcissistic sociopath. Irish is right in that I could definitely see him snapping one day.

    The year is 2037.

Floyd has just filed for bankruptcy, and one of his cars gets repossessed for the 5th time that month.

Annoyed Floyd to his gf: Bitch, make me some lunch!

Gf: Fuck you! That's why you aint got the cars no more!

    Floyd: Watchu say bitch??????

Gf: I said.... YOU AINT GOT THE CARS NO MORE! Oh, and... Castillo beat ya ass the first time!

Roy Sr. Was Physically and Verbally ABUSIVE to RJ…

He Also Frequently OVERMATCHED RJ in Sparring and Ammy Tournaments vs Bigger/Older Opponents, Despite Pulling a 180 and Matching RJ SOFT as a Pro…

When Roy made his debut it was still the 80's. I find that hard to believe sometimes.

The EIGHTIES. I mean Regan was still President.

Not Trump. Not Biden. Not Obama first time not Obama 2nd time. Not Bush Jr first time, not Bush Jr 2nd time. Not Slick Willy, part Uno or Part Two. Not Old Man Bush.

    Fucking REGAN.

The 2nd last President to die was still President when Roy turned Pro :Jest:

I was watching an old tennis match last month between Michael Chang & Stefan Edberg (from 89), and midway through they say, "Tune into NBC tomorrow for the pro debut of Olympic silver medalist, Roy Jones Jr."

From reading all these post it just confirms what I always suspected. How much people hate Floyd. I'm not gay or anything but where did the Pretty Boy moniker come from? He sure as hell ain't pretty. I can see AJ, Young RJJ, Oscar De La Hoya, Ray Leonard having that moniker but Floyd? Really?

I remember Micheal Chang and his Nike commercials you took me way back. Chang was probably the most famous Asian American player in tennis ever.
