The only time I ever hated Chisorah was when he lost to Haye. Hated him for that. He let that fucking mook drag out his career for another 5 or 6 years off that. He had a chance to END Haye that night.

He never used to be that way. He got banned by Mickey Duff once for saying stuff Mickey didn't want said.

He learned to be a good boy after that.

 

I fully understand why wlad didn't hit him. But him staying immobile the whole time and licking his lips was just incredibly weird.

 

I just take him as he is myself - an enthusiast, a fan. I dont think he's faking or on the sell in the main, he just loves boxing and admires fighters

 

As great as some of the fights and press conference brawls have been....its the laxative comment I'll remember longest

I think the intended purpose of it all was to butter the guy into retiring. You've earned the respect of the boxing fraternity, we revere & rate you, crowds will cheer for you in ten years dont worry - now pack it in before your brain turns into 5-guys patty.

 

I like Chisora, like most have said he was good entertainment and came to fight.

The only thing I didn't like was when he went off on Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis that he should have been headlining over them. Of course then there were all the comments from the casuals saying "I only came to watch Chisora, never heard of these other bums", "Chisora should be headlining, nobody cares about these other guys". That bothered me because it was the best two in the division, he knows it was a bigger fight and he knows how tough the boxing game is. Found that disrespectful.

Overall though, I think he's made a really good career from what he had to work with and I hope he retires in good health.

 

Yeah....I took the same meaning. Sly Stallone & Michael Buffer are boxing legends in a way. It doesnt mean 'elite all time great'.
