But Ambrose Mendy is indeed a twat who played a huge role in the Benn vs Eubank feud and in the eventual loss suffered by Benn.

It was Mendy who pushed the angle about Eubank being some protected establishment fraud who'd had it easy all his life. In fact Eubank had it just as hard and was as badly behaved if not worse than Benn.

Eubank had in fact flung himself at Warren and intimated he was a major star. Warren shrugged him off and thats where Barry Hearn came in. A fucking snooker promoter.

Kevin Mitchell's "Drowning in Ambrosia" comment about Mendy was one of the more memorable anecdotes in his book about the Benn vs McClelan fight. Mendy just talked a lot of shit.

Their statement regards Mendy in the other hand is confirmed, by amongst other things, the Clerk at Southwark Crown Court and the registrar at HMP Brixton

Their point was that sending Wenton to America to fight Mitchell was not good management and was another Mendy Special
