I agree. Khan didn't win a second of the fight against Crawford, Brook was right in it for however long it lasted and walked into one. Its hard to call as they're both kind of shot but my money would be on Brook.

It's because many of the UK public still wanna see Khan-Brook.

Thurman-Garcia 2 would be different - nobody would give a shit about that matchup.

Khan-Brook sold out in under an hour.

 

I've never been to the UK but everyone knows English fans are some of the biggesr boxing fans in the world. I remember Mike Tyson said his favorite place to visit was the UK because of their fans. Im not surprised they sold out. They'll happily to turn up for most boxing events involving UK fighters. But the fight is still pointless though.

 

Most fights nowadays are pointless. I'll gladly watch Khan-Brook if its on ESPN+ or something.

If its not offered in the US, I won't lose any sleep. Someone will upload it to YT the next day.

'Genuine dislike' of Khan not hype - Brook

 

I really suspect Khan is gonna win. I know Brook is probably still the favorite, but I just feel like Khan's jab is gonna destroy Brook's very vulnerable eyes.

Prime-for-prime, I would have said Brook by TKO.

 

Yeah, boxing fans should boycott those way past their expiration dates matchup (yes I know it s mostly marketed at casual fans though). Simply a money grab

 

Khan’s speed is still his best asset but I think Brook will level him with a right hand. All he needs is one big one, and Khan is gone.

Now if Brook really struggles hard to make weight and is totally shot, then yeah I can se Khan winning.

But Amir is dumb as a brick and super predictable. He can’t be perfect for 12 rounds.

 

This has some De La Hoya-Vargas elements to it in how personal it is and how much they dislike each other.

I still think Brook KOs Khan but it’ll be a war. A short war.

 

One thing is that Khans handspeed is always extremely dangerous in the first round. Brook could be another to get blitzed early at this point. That handspeed is legit and I don't think Brook would survive getting hurt.

 

I'm still believing Brook can do it. I sincerely believe he'll spark Khan.

 

I hope you're right, but I'm still going Khan. Brook looked so fragile against Bud - at this point I'm not convinced his chin is any better than Khan's.

I just have this feeling that Khan is gonna stop him. I don't really care for either, so it don't matter to me who wins. But of course, I would rather see Khan lose.

 

I think Khan blitzes Brook in a similar manner to how he has done lesser guys like La Greco in the past; it could be over real quick. He doesn't have much power but I don't think you need much to take Brook out at the minute. If he still has his speed, he'll be able to take him out in the first few if he gets him hurt IMO.

If it gets past say three, and Brook is still around, I like him to time the back hand and take Khan out with it.
