Tbf, there was a lot of holding one arm at a time, but that's a prerequisite to good infighting. While neither fighter's infighting was sophisticated, their 'holding' certainly wasn't an attempt to clinch, just control offence without limiting their own.

He was one of those guys with solid offensive tools (especially his left hook) but he would frustrate you by not letting his hands go enough. He was cautious and selective to a fault. He did have some great highlight reel KOs against Antonio Diaz and Guty Espadas though.
