The Mavs Have Had GS’ Number This Year…3-0 Against Them, if REED’s Not Mistaken.

As Expected, the Harden/Embiid Pick and Roll Looks UNfuckingGUARDABLE.

dinwiddie and bullock were nice pickups for them. i think they get out of round 1 this year. depending on the matchup.

durant returned and didnt miss a beat. but they still lose to the heat missing 3 key guys.

as for rodman, didnt realize he was voted into the top 75 ever! not bad for a dude who wouldnt even start for some teams in 2022

Yeah but don’t forget Brooklyn was missing 2 key guys themselves. Brooklyn has not been able to work on their chemistry at all and have now added a new big piece who may not even play this season. There’s no way I see Brooklyn winning a title this season.

    Not likely.

I find it funny how Stephen A Smith keeps saying how much Vogel needs to be fired. Of course that’s going to happen because the guy who really caused this mess—Pelinka—needs Vogel’s scalp to scapegoat his own failures. Pelinka built a team that’s at fireable offense levels of terribleness.

Personally if I was the Lakers I’d look to rebuild after this season. I’d dump LBJ, Russ and especially AD and look to restock draft picks. The problem is AD’s now worth way less than what the Lakers paid for him.

Well if Pelinka doesn’t have the balls to tell LBJ to shut up and dribble when it comes to roster construction he needs to be fired even more so.

Irving just dropped 50 on Charlotte. On 15 out of 19 shots from the field!

Kind of easy to do that when Kyrie’s playing against guys who are playing a real NBA schedule while he’s playing some bastardized halfassed version of it.

Clearly, You've ONLY Watched the Brooklyn Game, if You REALLY Think the Harden-Embiid Pick and Roll AIN'T Working...Even in Last Night's Loss to Denver, it WORKED When They Used It...

But Please, Don't Allow FACTS to Get in the Way of Your Bias...

ZERO % Chance of Philly Being Eliminated in the 1st Round, Unless....

    The Covid Mandate is Lifted...

The WAY Brooklyn Kicked Philly's Ass Was a Bit Disturbing, So Yeah, if Somehow THAT was a 1st Round Matchup, You'd HAVE to Favor Brooklyn...But Again, That's ASSUMING Kyrie Would Be Available the Entire Series...

Aside from That, NO Way in Hell is Philly a 1st Round Exit...

    Ehhh, "Easy"???:Dont:...

You Can Lock Some Guys in a Gym By THEMSELVES For an Hour, and They WOULDN'T Make 50pts Worth of Shots...

To Your Point, Sure, Kyrie's Legs are FRESHER Than His Opponents, But the Fact He ISN'T Playing/Practicing Regularly Impacts STAMINA, RUST, RHYTHM and TIMING on the Flip Side...

FYI, Kyrie Dropped 60 on Orlando Tonight, 20-31FG, 8-12 on 3's:duck:...

    6 Rebounds, 4 Asts, 4 Steals and a Block...

REED Can't Stand the Motherfucker, But ON the Court, There's Very Little to DISLIKE About Kyrie...

I actually think it is easy for him. Just as it would be for other players of his caliber on a similar schedule. The only thing separating Kyrie from his contemporaries is workload. When it comes to the NBA, playing a lighter schedule than everyone else has to be an advantage much bigger than any fall-off you’d get from missing those same games based off your analogy. 82 games is a grueling schedule that players have wanted reduced for years and as usual Kyrie doesn’t have to play the whole thing.

I’m not criticizing him, he did what he was supposed to do, but it’s not the same as someone who’s played a full schedule doing it.

    Agree to Disagree...

    50 is 50...60 is 60:Dont:...

Sure, A Player Bron's Age is HELPED By a Reduced Schedule, But Kyrie's 29 and In his Prime...

You're Either Getting BETTER or WORSE @ Basketball; It's RARE That a Player is Stagnant...& w/That, the Covid Mandate PRECLUDES Kyrie from Playing/Practicing Against NBA Caliber Competition as Often as His Opponents...

So Yeah, While Kyrie's Likely Playing Pick Up Games, Attempting to Stay Sharp, Those Games Don't APPROACH the Level of Competition and SPEED of Play he's Seeing On Game Night...

If it were "Easy" Don't You Think Kyrie Would Be AVERAGING 50 or 60 in the Limited Amount of Games He's Playing???...

It's about compliance with Kyrie (probably the whole time). He's an example now and it looks like the mayor has decided to make it as hard on him as possible.

The rule in NY is a fucking joke. He can be in the stadium unmasked but not on the court? I got vaccinated but plenty didn't and it's open slather here now after the world's longest lockdown. This mayor smells like the Premier here to me. Got a taste of unprecedented power and liked the feel of it.

While REED Can't Disagree, KD Certainly DIDN'T Do Kyrie Nor the Brooklyn Nets ANY Favors By Calling the Mayor Out, Even Mentioning Him By Name, In His Post-Game Press Conference Sunday...

And Before We Make Kyrie a MARTYR, Let's Remember It's HISfuckingCHOICE Not to Get Vaccinated...This Could Be a MOOT Ass Point if Kyrie Wanted it to Be...

and I'd agree completely but this shit is basically over and the rule makes no sense at all if it's actually about not spreading COVID.

100% agREED On the IDIOCY of it All, But it's a New York STATE Mandate...The Mayor Governs New York CITY...

REED Won't Pretend to Know for Certain, But it Would Seem the Mayor Couldn't Overrule a STATE Mandate On His Own???...

I may have come off as overly aggressive there. After being locked down for two years to all restrictions being dropped as soon as it became politically expedient has made me very cynical about the whole thing.

I just appreciate the kids skillset. Durant is the best player on the planet but he's a 7ft freak of nature who moves like a 6'6 wing and is one of the top shooters in the league.

Irving is 6'2 or 6'3 and giving any and everyone buckets from ANYwhere on the court. Finishing over 7ft guys despite not being a leaper. Its all finesse with either hand. His mid range/pullups over 6'8 defensive dynamos like thybulle. Contested 3s off the dribble . Just the ultimate scorer at the smaller guard position .

I do think the schedule has helped him because the one downfall of his has been durability and maintaining his level of play at his peak. But if you keep him relatively fresh and put him in a crucial postseason elimination game I got more faith in him performing at a clutch and high level than almost anyone in the game

Slapping another coach upside the head wasn't a big thing back in the day? When was that?
