Pat M over on ESB said that he'd knock Canzoneri out in a round, and he's trained people. Knows that you have to keep your elbows in and your feet underneath you and everything. So Canzoneri is the answer obviously.
That's fucking hysterical. Canzoneri was an animal once he got going. But I'll tell you..... Al Singer might be the guy for Tank to beat. Singer could dish it out but if he didn't land big he was right there to get walloped.
Would he beat a fat Erik Morales that should have gotten the decision against Dangerous David Diaz and was competitive against a young Danny Garcia
I'd take him over Morales. Morales lost to Raheem at 135. Morales is a pretty bad match up for Tank though in terms of style. Especially if he boxes more like he did against Maidana.
Tank vs Spaddy, in a battle of baby mama abusers, I would say that Tank ices Spadafora eventually. Spaddy simply can't gain Davis' respect at all with his punches, and his chin wasn't the best - as was shown in the Victor Sosa fight. Tank vs Paz... tough to say. I could see Paz roughing Tank up, and outworking him on the inside.
At 154 I think he beats Roy Jones Jr. Too much power for Roy's fragile chin. I give Tank a punchers chance. The way Barrios gave Thurman Hell makes me think Tank has underrated Punching power. I can see Tank carrying his power as high as 154 too.
You're so delusional in your Jones hate, that I'm terrified you might actually be serious, and not pulling sarcasm. I'm hoping it's the latter...
Guys like Greg Haugen, Vinny Pazienza, Humberto Soto, Paulie Malignaggi, Devon Alexander, Nate Campbell, Victor Ortiz, Orlando Salido I would favor Tank over. Edwin Valero or Joan Guzman would be interesting and I'm not sure how well Tank does against those 2.
