Ugas is showing some signs of life. He landed some nice body shots. Spence may have been taking a bit of breather.
good stoppage, Ugas didnMt wanted to be there anymore. Tremendous performance by Spence, his best ever imo
That uppercut that landed around the eye may have been the final nail. Ugas looked visibly in pain when it landed and was trying to stay away from Spence.
Yeah, Ugas can complain all he wants but it was clear he wanted out. No shame in it though as he gave it a go.
People forget Errol almost got knocked out by a guy not known as a puncher. Errol Spence will get kod badly by Crawford, Charlo or Boots. No question in my mind he's greatly overrated.
Spence did not get almost knocked out, stop it. I'm taking Crawford, but make no mistake, Bud is not an overwhelming favorite. Crawford is like 55/45 favorite imo.
Spence might be overrated but he’s not an easy guy to KO. And even upon review, he wasn’t hurt that badly. He was caught on the break UNEXPECTEDLY and his recuperative powers were quite impressive considering the long layoff.
Ugas is not a big puncher. He only has 12 kos and the way Spence's body reacted was concerning. The only thing that saved him was him spitting out the mouth piece and a corrupt referee. Then later on Ugas landed those punches to the body he was hurt again. The way Spence reacted reminded me of when Ward hurt Kovalev. Spence obviously can't take a body shot from a guy you called basic. That's not a good Sign. Makes sense why Errol has been avoiding Crawford.
But he wasn’t hurt when he lost his mouth piece. He was hurt after getting hit on the break because he had his hands down and didn’t see the punches. I also lean towards Crawford but not with any real certainty. Both have styles than can exploit the other.
