Greater fighter: Canelo Alvarez or Juan Francisco Estrada

    Who would you say has a case of being the best Mexican fighter of this era since Barrera, Morales, and JMM? Although Canelo is obviously the bigger star Gallo has some good wins on his belt as well.

    Canelo has wins over GGG, Cotto, Kovalev, Jacobs, Smith, Saunders, Plant. Became first undisputed 168lb fighter.

    Gallo has wins over Chocolatito, Sor Rungvisai, Cuadras, Segura, Viloria, Melindo. Also avenged all of his losses.

    Fuck it, I'm taking Estrada. Rungvisai and Chocolatito are BOTH more impressive wins than any of Canelo's. Estrada's other top wins are better than Canelo's, although there isn't as many. Cuadras 2x, Segura, Viloria, Melindo and Marquez are flat out better as a collection than Kovalev, Jacobs, Smith, Saunders, Plant, Lara, Trout and co.

    Most would rate Canelo higher as he's a bigger star and has been rated higher by most, but his losses are worst and his best wins aren't as good.
