I think the deeds done now, tbh. Still: a cup treble would be quite a feat

Kyogo's goal at ~1.30! His first touch really is consistently world class

See, the commentators would sooner revel in the "big moment" than call a spade a spade....sooner get wet than do the right thing.

Meh. If they didn't drop points against Spurs then Citeh probably wouldn't have today either. The games weren't being play simultaneously and everybody knew where they stood going in.

Yeah that's how I saw it too. City subconsciously took their foot off the gas by the looks of things. Also Spurs are frustratingly inconsistent but they're a good side and have taken 8 points off City and Liverpool in their four games this season. Tbh the draws with City are the pivotal results. Not faulting Liverpool for those games, they are both absurdly good teams and on a different planet to the rest so it was always going to be a cigarette paper's difference between them.

It must be amazing to be a fan of a side where no matter what happens you are absolutely guaranteed at least one fairly prolonged period of dominance of possession and shots on goal, no matter what, home or away. There's just always that hope in the back of your mind that you can turn it around, which you just don't get following one of the smaller clubs. Even when QPR ran away with the Championship in 2011 it was down to one world class player and 10 solid workhorses, it was moments of brilliance that settled games for us rather than sustained dominance.

Yeah i agree. Its margins. Last time City got away with one was 2012 where things aligned perfectly for them, last two, tgre games were United at home, Newcastle away and QPR at home....... You need to have it won by March or you're looking for a major alignment in your favour.

I agree but would throw in one very recent caveat of Liverpool who for extended periods of last season had a load of the ball and lost game after game to Fulham, Burnley, Chelsea at home while creating very very little. It does hapoen to all clubs eventually, albeit in microcosm.

In 2019 it was the width of one aspirin tablet.... That's how much of the ball didn't cross the line in the 2-1 defeat to City in Manchester.

Random: Lautaro Martinez of Inter is easily one of the best strikers in the world. Dude has been lethal this year in Serie A.

Yeah, May 28th is shaping up to be a big sports day for me.

LFC vs RMA in the afternoon, followed by Tank vs Rolly at night.
