    Yeah, which I agree with to be fair. It would just be weird if Celtic had to go through the qualifying rounds (and potentially go out) even though they are the actual Scottish Champions, ahead of Rangers.

    That's why the Europa League route doesn't make sense. It's basically a tournament you try to win for ulterior motives. Like going to school so you can leave at some point rather than going for the sake of schooling itself.
