I think Rolly might make this interesting for a bit. Mostly an enraged Tank loading up for too long and Rolly timing him. Tank should get there eventually after he settles down.
The more of a brawl it is, better for Rolly. He needs Tank to stand in front of him and trade for him to pull this off. And even then, he’s gonna have to have a good chin, because he’ll need to take some to give some. My head tells me Tank within 7 rounds, but I’m hoping Rolly pulls this one off. Could y’all imagine the comedic gold in the post fight interview if he wins?
Weird, I thought Romero was much taller than Tank but they seem about the same height. If that s indeed the case, Romero's odds of winning goes way down
Rolly giving a good account of himself is a victory for him, really. If he goes out in 6-8, but gets his licks in, he can be proud of himself. Its only if he gets wiped out without putting up a fight that'll be embarrassing.
I have a work colleague and neighbour there tonight, flew over two days ago to support O'Sullivan, who also lives locally. He knows naff all about boxing, very excited about latter's chances. It wouldnt have been right to tell him the obvious.
Jesus Christ......you should have said something. He'll get the fright of his life! I hope he enjoys slot machines.
He's an innocent sort, hopefully he'll stay out of trouble if there is any. A shame it's such a crap card overall.
I know a guy who inherited £260k and blew it in 4 years traveling around the globe on the self-imposed and entirely comical pretense that African football needed better representation. I think gangsters in Zambia alone took him for 10,000 quid or more. What few possessions he had went into storage a d that cost £21k. He finally suffered MRNA jab and high altitude related clots and now he's utterly potless and blaming the few people that are still answering his texts. Lot of innocent people out there.
The buzz about this fight is HUUGGEE around my way. Bigger than I expected. Again, it might be a locational and cultural thing since I'm talking about Jersey/NY blacks and Latinos, but its definitely the biggest event of the night around here. A shit ton of people I know are either tuning in, or are at Barclays.
Shakur has a fanbase? I think he needs a little more exposure....I thnk once people see him they will be surpirse...
Shakur has a bigger fanbase around here than fuckin Rolly does . Tank-Stevenson would be HUGE at Barclays.
Rolly sure AF does look loose and confident walking into the arena, I must say. Doesn't at all look intimidated by the moment.
It's kinda surreal listening to Barry Tompkins. This is a man who was ringside calling Pryor-Arguello 1. Crazy that he's still going strong.
