I rebember an article analysing shavers record, and his ko ratio against hw 6f2 and more was abysmal. Dont think he was the hardest puncher ever

I'm looking at the list I made 6 years ago, and I would make two changes.

I think Lewis probably deserves the nod as the biggest heavyweight puncher ever. Mike was more even-handed, and obviously threw better combos, but if we're talking simply one punch I would say Lewis' right hand is the most powerful punch in heavyweight history.

Secondly, for featherweight, I would make a change and say that Lil Red Lopez was a bigger hitter than Hamed.

There really should be a super hw division. The size difference between Tyson and guys like Lewis is too great. It's almost unfair. When you consider Tyson is like 5"10 knocking out giants it makes it that much more impressive.

Hearns, Robinson, Trinidad, and Cuevas could be top 4 at welterweights. Who would be the 5th?

    agREED…

Mike was 5’10, 210-218 at his Best. Lennox was 6’5, 235-240ish at his Best. Naturally Bigger/Larger Man…

That’s Like 3-4 Weight Classes Everywhere Else BUT Heavyweight…

The Fact it’s even Debatable is a Feather in Mike’s Cap…

Not necessarily. Power is power. Outside of Lewis and Wilder (and MAYBE a young Wald), there's been no 6'5+ heavyweight in history with power on par with Tyson's.

Fury is 6'9 and don't crack like Mike.

Michael Grant, Jameel McCline, Lance Whitaker, all huge guys with just "okay" power.

Mike’s Handspeed, Technique and Torque are Responsible for his Power. But in General, Loooong, Rangy Guys Punch Harder…

Saddler, Hearns, Arguello, Tim Austin, Wilder, etc. All Among the HARDER Punchers of their Era’s. Lennox Wasn’t as THIN as the Aforementioned, But Similarly Framed…Ditto for Wlad…

All You Have to Do is Watch Wilder-Fury II and III to Appreciate the Sheer DAMAGE a Man Fury’s Size Can Do…

Grant, McCline and Whittaker were All FAILED Athletes That Gravitated to Boxing, as their Technique or LACK Thereof Illustrated…

Being a Naturally Larger/Bigger Man WITH Appreciable Punching Technique Damn Sure Doesn’t HURT, No Pun Intended…
