I knew LaMotta and Graziano grew up together but I thought the story was that they didn't like each other. I remember some quote I read from Rocky years ago along the lines of "when we used to play hide and seek, nobody bothered to look for Jake". Could have just been banter to be fair or they may have patched things up later on or something. I was just under the impression all these years that there was animosity between them.

 

Different era. Different simpler times. Makes you wonder how we got here.

 

I think LaMotta used to tell most of the stories. I never heard Graziano tell them.

In Grazianos movie, there was no mention of Jake, and in Jake's movie, no mention of Graziano.

So it's hard to say.

 

Somehow you just knew Fury would be saying out loud what others said in private.
