Boston defense is something they've ytet to face. Great perimeter defenders who can switch most every pick. Bigs who can move their feet against curry and at least run him off the arc. And Williams a legit shot blocker Memphis had most of those aspects but lacked experience and morant went down
You’re joking right? Did he get outcoached or did The Celtics just play better down the stretch? Because to me it just looked like the latter. Here’s something that’s kind of funny. I was listening to a podcast way early in the season where some basketball metric had predicted at the time that The Celtics were favored to win the championship. This was before they started playing really good basketball so at the time I seriously thought it was nonsense. However, the closer these guys get to that trophy the crazier I think it is how that one metric got it right. Even if they don’t actually win the championship, the fact they got to the finals and didn’t get swept is just crazy to me.
Warriors got dominated on the glass and in the paint. Draymond has been awful. Warriors been dominating the 3rd quarters, Boston been dominating the 4th. Don’t know why they played Looney so little when Boston was dominating the boards.
Boston needs to commit to playing Bob Williams and Al Horford extended minutes, stay big to beat the Dubs
Curry and Thompson both hot and they wasted it There's really no one at the rim when Boston goes to the cup
This guy and his fucking bracelet Shaq totally losing it at the end ... I'm surprised they haven't all been canceled for their obvious "homophobia"
These current NBA players need to be ridiculed for their feminine behavior and wardrobe. Dwayne Wade is one of the fairy fucks that started it all.
Boston fell into the trap of trying to out-chuck 3's against the Dubs in crunch time and predictably it's falling short
Boston had too many turnovers early on I still think they'll win but now it seems likely to be in 7. Which conflicts with my plans to attend the juneteenth concert at the Hollywood bowl that day! Nonetheless this is far and away the best curry has played in an NBA finals. Respect to him
Boston has been shooting 3s at a higher percentage than Golden State so far. Fortunately for the Dubs, Boston went cold in the 4th quarter. Dubs did a much better job of getting rebounds this time around. They got dominated in game 3 on the boards. Steph is going to need more help offensively. He was 7/14 from 3 point land tonight, the rest of the team was 8/29. I think it’s the best postseason game ever had played. Steph usually has that one game in the finals where he’s really off. Hard to be that consistent when you’re taking so many threes, and you’re commanding all the defensive attention. Other guys need to hit their 3s.
The KEY to GS's Pick and Roll is Fighting to Get OVER the Screen OR the Man You're Switching w/ALREADY Being UP CLOSE, HANDS UP, Ready to Defend... Steph, Klay and Poole Need HALF a Second of Free Space to Release and SPLASH...If You Go UNDER the Screen or if the Switcher is Toooo Deeeeeep, it's ALREADY a Wrap... Good performance by the Warriors. Steph had a very poor shooting game and they still won. Wiggins came up huge, Klay had a solid shooting game, GP2 was very good off the bench, and the team defense was excellent in forcing turnovers. They also took good care of the ball, committing only 7 TOs to Boston’s 18.
I said I was out but I’ve been watching and enjoying these playoffs. The thing of it is, if Tatum has one good game and Boston were to win the Championship they would hand Tatum that MVP even though Brown has been the better more consistent player. As it stands Bosoton is going to lose because their bench is literally giving them zelch now.
Harden apparently didn't get the supermax. I have no problem with that. He quits on teams at the drop of a hat.
16 is LITERALLY Boston’s Magic Number… 1-7 When They Have 16 or More TO’s 13-2 When They Have Fewer Than 16 TO’s REED
