Wow what an honor

 

Impressive performance by Beterbiev, I expected him to give Smith a one sided beatdown but not to end it so early. Definitely one of the hardest punchers in boxing currently even though his punches are not of the eye catching variety.

 

Beterbiev is good but he's also less skilled Than bivol. Smith was made to order

Let's see what happens. Bivol is really good

 

I honestly don't think the skill gap is big.

AB's skill is underrated, and Bivol's skill is now overrated because of what he did to Nelo.

 

Beterbiev is just as skilled, if not more than Bivol. Just because he fights in a more aggressive, brutal style doesn't make him less skilled. We've seen Beterbiev fight on the front and back foot, inside and outside. He's a damn good counter puncher as well.

not surprised Arum squashed talks of Crawford vs Spence for years. I'm sure if we look back he's probably been responsible for preventing many unification fights from fighters from his stable.

 

I will never forgive Arum for not making Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Juan Manuel Lopez happen at a time when it should have.

Perhaps. But Gamboa in his prime was susceptible to getting overly reckless and knocked down countless times. He'd lit up Juanma but the chances of him running into a big shot and KO'd would have been high as well. That fight, along with Kovalev vs Stevenson, is the biggest what-if match ups in recent times.

 

Artur Beterbiev is the best fighter in boxing I've ever seen.

Sounds like he killed someone in a similar fashion to how Whitaker got killed.

We need more details. Maybe Gamboa was at fault. But people have to be cognizant that crossing the street at night in a poorly lit area is playing Russian Roulette.
