Andy Gangigan wasn't the quickest handed guy.

 

Not to get off topic but after he suckered punched Grant I knew something was off with That guy. Years later I read he was responsible for murdering Max Kellermans brother and with a hammer. The irony of That.

 

Butler had fast hand. He had slow feet though. Lil red

 

Khaosai Galaxy and Srisaket Sor Rungvisai come to mind as far as power and slow hands go.

 

Lil Red is a good mention. So is Zamora and Cuevas. Rungvisai too. None of them truly slow, but none quick and all lethal.

 

I can see Lil Red and Rungs, but Cuevas had explosive handspeed. Zamora did as well.

 

Vitali Klitschko didn't seem that fast.

Galaxy was a great shout. I can't think of another all time great puncher with slower hands than Galaxy.

Hell I would even say that Marciano had quicker hands than Galaxy in a P4P sense.

David Tua was fast and explosive with his hands. He doesn't fit imo (though his movement was lumbering).

 

Yeah, Tua doesn't belong here at all.

Tua had painfully slow feet, but his hands were very fast.

 

Ben Tackie definitely belongs here.

 

Juanma López was slow as hell but he could crack.

Yeah you're right about that, just rewatched his first round KO of John Ruiz and he definitely had fast hands. His plodding style makes him look slow.

Yeah I'm built very similarly to David Tua. In my younger days when I got into scuffles, People underestimated my hand speed. I'm 5"7 240 and have short arms. but I have knocked guys out because they underestimated my hand speed. didn't expect a fat short stocky Mexican to have fast hands. so yeah same with David Tua he dont belong in this thread.
