This saturday on Showtime. Who you got? Seems like the type of fight Vargas wins. But a good matchup imo.

I know. But the guy has proven himself tough to beat, even if he is a stinker.

Magsayo really didn't look that impressive in his last fight against a one armed Russell but I'll be rooting for him to beat Vargas. Honestly this could go either way. Just want to see a good fight.

Martin had a bit of an off night but his talent is obvious. I think he’s a player in this deep division. I’d take Martin over Ryan Garcia, but that wouldn’t say a whole lot. Lol.

    Magsayo kept plodding forward ponderously

Magsayo is so goddamn frustrating to watch. He just plods forward, has very little boxing IQ and has no plan B other than just trying to knock the other guy out. I figured that his limited skills will lead to a loss soon enough, just didn’t think he would lose his title that quickly.

He needs another trainer. Freddie Roach is not the right guy for him.

Rey Vargas is a talented and strong fighter. He has earned a few fights in his most recent matchups.
