Nice Usage of a PLAYED OUT Ass Cliche:rolleyes:...

The VAST MAJORITY of Boxers Have Other Jobs to Supplement Their Overall Income; Marvin Hagler Did Construction Work for His Trainer's, the Petronelli's...Should Fighters Be ASHAMED They Dared to Lose to a Fucking CONSTRUCTION WORKER???...Fuck Outta Here w/LAME Ass "Logic"...

Again, Roy CLEARLY Isn't Your Cup of Tea, So WHYthefuck Do You Harp On Him???...You Know What a Hater Is???...A FAN In Reverse, That's What...

Anyways, Among Others, Roy KO'ed HOF'er Virgil Hill (w/a Bodyshot, Y'all Musta Forgot), Montell Griffin, Merqui Sosa (Who was Credited w/Having THE Best Chin in Boxing @ the Time, Per SEVERAL Boxing Magazines), and Former World Champions Like Jeff Lacy, Eric Lucas, Thulane Malinga and Vinny Paz...

In Addition to That, Roy DROPPED the Likes of James Toney, Reggie Johnson, Mike McCallum, Julio Gonzalez (Who Went On to BEAT MichalSHITski Afterwards) and Others...

Just Because YOUR Hating Ass Doesn't Know or Respect Who Roy KO'ed Doesn't Mean He Lacks Respectable Names On His KO Ledger...

If not being a Roy manfan makes me a dumb ass then yeah. I'm completely neutral and unbaised when it comes to Jones. Out of all your examples the only great fighter was Virgil Hill ill give you that one. But Pacquio consistantly beat and kod great fighters. Jones never knocked out a guy like De La Hoya or a Cotto. The same Cotto that later went 12rds with Canelo.

Yeah you know what youre right. Its been so long. I forgot about those fights. Good calls on Vinny Paz, Julio Gonzales(ordered that one on ppv) and the body snatcher were all great wins for Roy. I still think a little guy moving up 8 divisions to beat the brakes out of a much bigger man in Margarito is more impressive and for that reason I think hes a bigger puncher than Roy but Roy had respectable power and in his prime was damn near untouchable.

Tate- fought for the titles 4 times and came up short 4 times. Lost to Jackson, Jones, Ottoke. Almost challanged Calzaghe but had an injury and retired. That guy?

Now THIS is an Objective Post/Opinion...

REED Will Criticize, But REED Will Also Give PROPS When Due...REED Has No Quarrel w/ANYONE That Holds Pac in Higher Regard as a Puncher...It's an INTERESTING Debate For Sure...

Literally, Tate was Stopped 1 Time His Entire Career...Fewer Times Than EVERYBODY You Credited Pac for KO'ing...

By Roy Jones Jr., w/a Single Leaping Left Hook, Early in Round 2...

CHIN/PUNCH RESISTANCE and ABILITY Don't Always Go Hand In Hand Bruh...

BF is like a throwback Jones hater. You don't see Roy haters like him around anymore.

It hearkens back to the days of Rebel and Valentino.

Jones was the bigger puncher IMO, and one of the most powerful middleweights ever. Even if others had more one punch power, it was less practical. Jones hot tough guys and got them out, simply as that.

    It's a pity a young Roy isn't around today.

BF would be in tears after his favorite red headed plodder is rendered unconscious.

If Roy was around today he'd have real competition at 175. Guys like Kovalev, Bivol and Berbetiev and would give him all kinds of problems. It would have been nice to see.

I think Roy would have schooled all 3, with Beterbiev being his biggest threat. Too much speed and skill.

Kov showed that he's too weak mentally to have beaten Jones. He's also demonstrated body vulnerability.

Bivol - schooling the midget does not at all prepare him for Jones.

Biev - a puncher's chance, but Jones is a large favorite.

When I think of Speed and Power the first person that pops in my head its Tyson. If you are between late 30s and Earl 50's Tyson is your boxing hero you grew up watching. Most of us in that age group heard of Ali and Sugar Ray but were too young to watch his fights( live). To me Tyson is my favorite hw of all time and probably my favorite fighter of all time if im being honest.

Alvarez wouldn't have faced a peak jones at 168. Or at light heavy

Not only Jones. Canelo's cherry picking ass wouldn't have faced a Ward, Toney, Calzaghe, or Hopkins either.

Roy has been fighting guys over his natural weight class since leaving 168 all of those years ago. If he stuck around middle/super middleweight then he would have more KO's surely but the names surely wouldn't tickle your fancy. He could only fight who was in front of him. I wish he dropped down to 160 and easily iced Tito in his prime, even though he did it much later.

Jones has a 12-0 win over a guy who was at his peak and considered at the time to be right behind Whitaker on the P4P list.

    Please don't compare Canelo's resume.

Agreed completely. In fact, id say canelo went after harder opposition than RJ did

Well Canelo faced the consensus best p4p fighter. He didnt do great against him, but thats beside the point

As for RJ against the three russians, the only one id give a chance is kovy. Bivol is a cutey, and it would be a horrible fight, but jones is too quick and powerful for him. Beter has a puncher chance, but he's too plodding to get to a cat like RJ. Kovy had the mix of skill, timing and power to get to RJ. Still, he's probably too vulnerable to get it done

what does 12-0 have to do with it? i'll say it again - if canelo is a cherry picker, rjj is as well. no question.

Please Don't TUCK Your Fucking Tail and RUN from This RJ Question the Way You Do EVERY Other Time REED Asks You Something Roy Related...

YOU Said if Canelo is a Cherry Picker Roy "Sure as Hell Was Too"...Therefore, it Should Be EASY for Your Bitter Ass to Find the Number of Times Roy Forced a Catchweight and/or Rehydration Clause Upon an Opponent...

    No, That IS the Point...

Roy 12-0'ed a Guy Who was NO WORSE than # 2 Lb for Lb...Canelo Basically Got 12-0'ed By a Smaller, Older Guy Who was # 1....If You CAN'T See the Difference in the Two, it's Because You Simply DON'T Want To...

Who's that weight drained James Toney? Please Show me p4p list where Toney ranks right behind Whitaker?

I realize that the all time P4P list is subjective but there is a general concensus about who the top 50 guys usually are. I dont know what paralell universe JT is ranked that high unless youre just trying to pad RJJ récord.

Check out this top 50 list JT is not even top 50.
