Full trailer and Illu was right about Pocahontas: she barely survives a bear attack, but will defeat the superior technology alien hunter predator...this will be a blast!

Yeah that one was Predators and I agree it was a terrible film. You’re also right in how these idiot film makers can’t not do the whole bigger is better thing for sequels when in their next Predator film they made the new Predator an NBA player equivalent of the regular ones by having him be a giant. I completely skipped that film and will do the same with this one unless I hear some good reviews.

For the record, {SPOILER ALERT} I heard a review of the new film and it looks like the girl isn’t going to kill the Predator but actually wind up teaming up with it to face a different threat. I wouldn’t be surprised if this Predator turns out to be a female, gay or trans.

Original terminator was great because it was treated seriously. A cyborg from the future sent to kill you is not supposed to be funny. T1 was essentially a horror and it was great.

Predator 1 was a very simple yet intense action movie and it was great.

So what do they do? Turn both franchises into fucking jokes. Replace john Connor with a little girl. Replace Arnie with a little girl. Fuck off already with this shit. Are you in a good movie making business or some bullshit liberal agenda driven business? What's next a little girl has a sex change and is the next rocky? Wouldn't be surprised. Fuck all this

 

Female predator makes sense….maybe she’s an ally of the natives and the story takes place during the Trail Of Tears time…

 

That Predators film sucked absolute dick. Also at anyone who’s argument is to criticize people for having expectations of satisfaction. What the hell do you think we go to the movies, pay subscription fees, or sit in front of the tv for, to not be entertained? And no, I’m not expecting Oscar worthy material from something like Prey. All I am expecting is a pretty good movie, with a good story that is entertaining and flows well. That’s all I’m asking for and lately that is simply not what is being delivered.

I get your point that I should give this film a chance over some of the other stuff they’ve been putting out but my point is it’s all one and the same. In my opinion these new film makers more often than not simply don’t know how to make good entertaining movies. It’s as simple as the old school have died off retired or whatever and the new guard quite simply suck.

 

i dunno, i prefer the Predator and Aliens franchises way more than rubbish like Avengers or Fast and the Furious etc....so i'll argue that these Predators movies are ok and they're doing a good job on them

Yup when i wait for a movie to finish already it's not a good sign. I liked the slower approach in the first half but then they crammed way too much action in the second half. Also I was bothered by those native savages sounding like 2022 high-school kids... yo bro you suck at hunting.. ain't no way you gonna kill that lion... bro chill i got this.... all sounded weird... very weird... should have been more basic with more grunting and definitely worse vocabulary.... ya savages with perfect grammar... ugh wtf...
All in all it was a slight improvement but not by much.

I watched it Friday night. It was alright, but it was too fuckin feminist for me.

A bad ass like Arnold in his prime whupping the Predator was believable.

A fuckin 13-year-old girl single handedly whupping the Predator goes too far beyond suspension of disbelief.

But heyyyy, in 2022 every man in a movie has to be portrayed as weak, and women are the strong ones who swoop in for the rescue... ya know, like the exact opposite of real life.

 

Ya it's ridiculous. Just make movies you fucking idiots and stay out of all these movements and agendas

Most of the glowing reviews this film is getting are plain laughable.

 

One review I saw chalked it up perfectly by claiming all the positive reviews are based more on how it isn’t quite as shitty as the last few Predator films. I started watching it and got to the part where she got herself out of the mud then I had to leave. My desire to pick up and finish watching it is somewhere between maybe and probably not.

 

I thought it was fine, put together a lot better than the rest of the sequels, bar Predator 2 which is a great b movie. Yes, the kill scene at the end is ludicrous, I hoped it would be a bit more ingenious but light years better than the recent The Predator, which was borderline unwatchable, or Alien vs Predator:Requiem, which was completely unwatchable.

 

it was ok but the end was stupid and ruined the movie for me....the movie spent it's first half establishing that she was a novice loser
she almost got killed by a lion and a bear

imagine if Arnold was the clumsy loser of the group and spent the first half of the movie almost getting himself killed out of stupidity


I don't think this has any rewatchability either...I'll rewatch that Predators with Adrian Brody before this one again
