Who are some of your favorite boxers that you think has a style that you could just watch all day? Pretty much fighters that had a style that exemplifies the terms clean, artistic, elegant, smooth, or finesse.

First to come to mind is Jose Napoles and Alexis Arguello.

To REED "Aesthetically Pleasing Style" Basically Means, "Guys I WISH I Could Fight Like”…

On That Note, Cassius Clay, Roy Jones, Manny Pacquiao...Literally, Those are the Only 3 Fighters REED's Ever Seen That Made Him Think "Damn, I WISH I Could Fight Like THAT Motherfucker!"...

For some reason well schooled Hispanic boxer-punchers seem to always have really clean, aesthetic styles.

    Jose Napoles
    Orlando Canizales
    Wilfredo Gomez
    Salvador Sanchez
    Ricardo Lopez
    Ruben Olivares

I started in the same gym as Davila, I lived by him and would hang around his house to see him come and go. I was a little kid, he was world ranked and that impressed me so much...
I never wanted to fight like him until the late 90s when I started buying videos of his fights.

When he dismantled Corrales, Ndou, and Gatti it was a thing of beauty but most of his fights were forgetable.

    Floyd was beautiful to watch.

I’ve watched that 8th round against Hatton countless times, along with other fights like Ndou, Chico, Gatti, Chavez, Cotto, etc…

He got his ass beat by Cotto...well it was very close. Had that been a prime Cotto who knows what wouldve happened. I honestly believe prime for prime Chavez stops or beats Floyd easily.

It's okay to have favoritism, but no one's gonna take you seriously when you say so much outlandish shit.

    1. Floyd-Cotto was NOT close. Cotto put up a good fight, and had his moments, but Floyd won clearly and was beating Cotto up down the stretch. It was going in the direction of a stoppage had it been the 15 round era.

    2. Chavez isn't stopping Floyd at any weight. He has a valid argument for beating Floyd at 130-135, but not by stoppage and not easily.

At 140, I think Floyd beats Chavez, though JCC would be very competitive.

Duran and Pryor are better suited for dealing with Floyd. It hurts Chavez that he lacked the speed and dynamism that those two had.

Thats why I corrected myself i felt old Cotto gave him a good fight. Lets llave it at that. And as far as Chavez if Castillo who was Chave's sparring partner gave Floyd his first loss I sure as hell believe Chavez would whoop Floyd at 135.
