If only Joshua had half the chin Slow Joe Joyce had, he'd probably win. I just remember that WSB match where Usyk hit the sloth with everything, yet Joyce just kept plodding forward ponderously, looking completely un-bothered by Usyk's punches
Knowing Full Well NOBODY "Likes" Getting Hit, Joshua REACTS to Getting Hit as Poorly as Any CURRENT Fighter, in REED's Opinion...Even When He's Not HURT, Dude is Noticeably UNNERVED By the Situation Itself... That Said, He HAS to Come to Grips and ACCEPT the Likelihood of Getting Hit/KO'ed to BEAT Usyk...Or, He's Just a GUY Moving Forwards... REED
Joshua doesn’t have the ring IQ to make adjustments mid-fight so he needs a perfectly drawn game plan that he can follow like an etch-a-sketch and then hope that Usyk doesn’t make any adjustments because AJ won’t be able to respond if he does.
I'd fancy Joyce right now to do AJ in an absolute shootout.........walk him right down and end it with some mad clubbing blows.
Yeah I see Lomachenko doing things very fluidly that have a rehearsed look to them. Usyk does off-the-cuff stuff in a clunky fashion. People confuse the two. I rewatched this fight last night and Joshua never came close to winning it. Watching it live it looked like he had a major chance at one point but it really was a brief, passing moment of danger for Usyk. I think it was the 9th. Joshua will need to produce at least 4, 5 of those moments in the fight for one of them to come good in some damaging way. Joshua for me is damaged and suspect but dangerous. Usyk has one obvious problem......the war and his being away, how hard he has trained.
I think AJ will give up easily once he realizes he’s outclassed. He’ll be content to go the distance but Usyk won’t allow it.
Froch reckons that Usyk took it easy on Chisora to trick AJ into taking the fight the first time. Froch always has some unique bullshit angle Then Usyks trainer says that Usyk killed himself in training by....nearly killing himself in training. Whsts next for AJ after Usyk loss? Probably should go after Wilder if Wilder beats Helenius. Then hopefully for him Fury beats Usyk and maybe he can get a shot at Fury
Yeah I think it'll be the Wilder fight. I think he loses that one though and then retires. There's no way he avoids that retard's right hand for 36 minutes.
Wouldn't rule it out to be fair. I just googled his net worth and it's £60m pre-Usyk II. If he loses convincingly again why carry on? He isn't regaining anything.
Remember when AJ was going to be the first 'Billion Dollar Athlete" .... If he wins tonight he'll be back on course for that, amazingly. I'm going to try an Akka of AJ win, Man United Win and Zheng win.
I agree with this. Joshua was never what we thought he was. His problems started with Andy Ruiz. The first fight he was jacked AJ having all that muscle got him Tired. The rematch he was Skinny AJ. More lean, more mobile AJ was able to Cruise to an easy UD. The problem I see is he tried to apply that strategy vs Usyk and played right into Usyk's game plan. He needs to bulk up and go back to what has worked for him in 99% of his previous fights.
Weak weigh in. Weak event. I remember Klitschko Vs Haye, that shit was febrile and heaving. This is sterile. Usyk looks focused and healthy. AJ grew his hair and looks nervous, looks uneasy. Looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. Saudi sucks.
There's already athletes worth over a billion, Jordan being one of them. I think LeBron might be worth over a billion also. Without looking, I would think that Messi and CR7 are worth a helluva lot more than AJ. Floyd also.
