There's no way those scales can say anything accurate about your bodyfat % let alone visceral fat or anything so granular. There's more bullshit in the fitness industry than the pharmaceutical industry and even less regulation, i would just get a cloth tape measure and use the old fashioned navy tape test (google will provide).... thats about as accurate as anything short of hydrostatic weighing or disection

Agreed. I think Everton would have won the European Cup if it weren't for Heysel. Obviously a ton of intangibles involved in regards to Cup competitions that might make a prediction like that fail, but it was their best ever side and they were clearly one of the best teams in Europe at that point. Like you say as well, if they'd conquered Europe just as the Premier League era started, who knows where they'd be.

I like both Merseyside clubs so it's no big deal for me, but it's absolutely true that they were robbed of competing in Europe with their greatest ever side through no fault of their own.

Weird that somebody asked this question because I've thought this myself. There isn't really a weak point to his game technically. He's fucking humongous, a natural finisher, great in the air, fast as fuck, great movement off the ball. The guy is going to break records left, right and centre during his stay in England.

 

Put simply, Haaland is a fucking beast.

 

The thing I've been thinking about actually, in a kind of opposite-of-Jordi-Cruyff way, is how it must feel to be a former footballer who was competent at the highest level but not proper world class, to see your son smashing records in the same sport. I think it would be funny if there was a football manager and some scouts that acted as double agents. They have a secret allegiance to one club but get jobs at at one of the monied up ones like PSG. Tell them some young shit players have immense potential and will be superstars one day. The big clubs believes you and spends an absolutely insane amounts of money on rubbish players or those who have some undisclosed injury/problem.

The club you're secretly working for now is financially set for a number of years on 2-3 terrible deals you managed to force through.

 

Mitrovic is a fantastic player. He's the only guy who could rival Taarabt as the best Championship player ever and in fairness to him he's also doing it in the Prem which Adel couldn't.
