In fairness it's not new. When Rooney was threatening to go to City so he could leverage more money the '"LUHG" shit appeared. Same when City beat them 6-1 the ground emptied like a sieve by 60 minutes and a "protest" was held the next day, presumably the owners were to blame for Evra not tracking Ballotelli etc.

 

Arsenal fans have done the same shit. I still read about Kroenke Out. There was a period the club didn't spend but that was because he wasn't the full owner. Why invest 100s of millions when the minority shareholders would get most of the benefit? Now he's the full owner and are spending just fine. A few bad purchases (FUCK PEPE) but for the most part the new squad is young and on reasonable wages. I've never complained about Kroenke. Hell my Chargers are using his Sofi Stadium rent free lmao.

 

What's annoying about Man United is the media's constant focus on them regardless of what else is happening the EPL or in the general football world. After every loss the pundits come out and perform what's tantamount to an inquest, particularly if it happens against a "small" side. A win and it's "they're back on track, headed in the right direction" etc.

 

I get it though, they absolutely dominated for the best part of 20 years. If Bayern for example went through a similar slump they'd get the same treatment.
