2 master boxers, one being a well rounded boxer-puncher and the other a tricky mobile southpaw. Does McCallum find a way to beat Lara handily or does Lara frustrate him with his movement?
Lara hasn't a prayer. Mike breaks him down, and stops him late. I don't think Lara would beat prime Vargas, let alone fricken Mike McCallum.
Lara's a very good puncher. He simply isn't nearly as good and talented a technician as Kalambay was.
I'd say Lara was a better technician than Herol Graham. McCallum struggled with Graham and won via SD.
I disagree. I think Graham at his very best was harder to deal with than Lara. Plus, Graham was a bigger man than Lara and that fight was at 160. We're talking 154 here. Lara's beaten no one in his career to suggest he could hang with a guy as good as McCallum.
