Cobra Kai - Season 5

anyone still watching this? Season 5 is out

it's getting stupid but I enjoy it

 

Some stuff got incredulous but what's the difference between that and a sci fi or fantasy show . Season 5 was good overall. I give it 8/10. The writers stay true to the original movies and that is the strength of the show.

 

not really...sci fi and fantasy are set in their own reality, whilst Cobra Kai takes place in the real world today

it's ridiculous and stupid but that's part of the fun....Karte Kid 3 is the most ridiculous movie ever yet I've rewatched it so many times - i guess they wanted to follow that goofyness

 

Whoa! When season 5 came out? It totally flew off my radar!

 

Mike Barnes should have had more screen time in series 5 and should have fought Terry Silver! Silver is a badass character!!

 

Scheduling issue. Hopefully he's back for season 6 with more screen time.

 

they want to do a Season 6? it all seemed to wrap up nicely

 

i felt he was missing that shit eating smirk he had non-stop in Karate Kid 3...that arrogant grin was legendary

 

Yeah. Totally flip reversed the character. You got to see snippets of classic Barnes angry, when he got out of the limo. He plays a good bad guy. I was so pissed when he got knocked out when he went into Silver's house and we didn't get to see him in a lengthly fight scene. Episode after episode I was thinking "where the fuck has Barnes gone?"

Think we'll get to see more of him in Series 6?

 

It’s completely over-the-top silly and ridiculous but it’s a pretty fun watch too. It’s entertaining and the episodes go by quick.

Peyton List was looking good in that swimsuit too.

 

Okay, I need to watch this shit right now!

 

The girl who plays Moon (Hannah Kepple) looks good too.

 

Amanda LaRusso and Carmen Diaz would both get it too.

 

Amanda was looking really good in that red dress in the second to last episode

 

Terry Silver is a fun villain

 

Terry Silver going into the hospital and bumping into Johnny and Carmen leads me to believe he has some sort of terminal cancer

 

Fun series..... 30 minutes episode, each episode is worth the time to watch, no fillers and bs. I like how they brought everyone they could back. Love me some Elisabeth Shue...

I don't think Silver is dying. There are many so called clues during Series 5 to make us believe this, but he's too big a character to die right now. I think Silver could have been at the hospital for several reasons; to see a relative or someone he knows that's been hurt ot sick, to see a specialist as he's having a form of treatment to live longer (as he's always going on about his legacy). He's taking these pills so they could be to help him live longer. He is after all in great shape for his age and is a millionaire/billionaire, so he could afford the very best in the latest enhanced treatment. Plus you've got some unsettled business between Silver and Barnes. Silver is going nowhere anytime soon, imo.

 

I'm embarrassed to say that this dumb show has me hooked

Watched every season, it's entertaining, quick, nostalgic....plus a might be a PEDO like Panchy...That Tory girl conflicted but

 

she's 26 years old so, and Samantha is even older....so it's all good

season 6 has 10 episodes out...but be careful cos there's another 5 to go which wont be released for months

fuckers got me with this as i thought i'd watch it all in one go and not get caught on a cliffhanger
