Absolutely. I was at pains to explain to the guy in my restaurant how I wanted a job for reasons which had little to do with money and a lot more to do with balance and perspective....interaction, speaking with other humans, having a laugh.

I've spent 3 years looking at screens, studying numbers, various books, online shit.

I won't quit anytime soon but it's totally unhealthy :Jest:

I didn't do any running until I was due to meet yourself and Mad Lad up in Glezgo. I'd no need. I wasn't required to have the fitness to stay awake on a bus or conduct business etc.

Lots of people out there living this life.

Fun fact: Rangers conceded more penalties last night than they have in domestic league fitbaw since 2018. We really need some neautral european refs flown in for old firm games

Did a 6km walk last night and felt that nagging pain towards the end. Not too worried , it's just to be expected I suppose . Onwards.

Is there even football this weekend?

Part of me enjoys the quiet weekend. Part of me fears the fixture buildup.

United too much for Sheriff last night. Last time the Sheriff was down in Trafford all he got was a few empty cabinet cases :Jest:

Aye, full fixture list this weekend afaik. After two reprieves, Celtic finally get their minutes 'silence', Sunday. Might as well get it over with.

Why are only some of the EPL matches this weekend postponed?

Brighton's match was already called off because of rail strikes, they're keeping it postponed even though the strikes were called off, for whatever reason.

The other two matches were apparently because of the Queen's funeral, but I've no idea why it's just those two. Or any, to be honest, it's getting a bit ridiculous.

Yeah i thought maybe it had something to do with them playing Euro games but Citeh and Spurs' games are not listed as postponed.

The Brighton one kind of makes sense, they've probably reallocated police resources and can't be arsed to change them.

Why don't they just use coaches if there are rail strikes?

Nigel Farage, Piers Morgan, Jeremy Kyle & the editor of The Daily Mail have all come out and publicly condemned Celtic this week. This enhances our legacy

Good game between Spurs and Leicester. Open game. Leicester are poor at the back. They can't cope with set-pieces and can be wide open at times. They also lacked confidence in front of goal, but it's 2-2 at the break. Their confidence grew late on in the first half. Kame scores again against Leicester. Should be more goals in this.

Son comes off the bench to score a hat-trick. Two of the goals were sonsational! Rodgers will likely be sacked now.

I wouldn't be shocked if Rodgers goes to Villa. Gerrard out, Rodgers in.

Distance PB for the missus on Friday. Day off yesterday and just a light 7k or so today. I was probably a bit hasty in pulling her from the GNR. She'd have probably done another 6k at 6min pace. Think she had a point to prove at me.

    MTF lol

Cops are stretched thinner than a budget pizza and simply can't cope with an additional 50,000 people converging in Chelsea just 3 miles from Westminster. It's all bullshit of course but that's the official reason..

Edit that mate to get rid of her name. She won't like it when Hanzy shows up in her Facebook profile requesting marriage and presenting her with 50 cows.

Gunners in control over the Bees. Jesus with a lovely header to make it 2-0 at the break.

There always are but that's me through and through, I'm so desperate to get over the line now and maintain momentum that I'll start plugging gaps that aren't there. It's a personality flaw. All out or all in.....

    I'm pulling the plug at 200lbs, that's 14 stone 4.

There won't be any more drastic stuff thereafter. I think I'll set it up for 1lb of loss per week thereafter. That would leave me around 175lb on the edge of Summer.

Critically the eating habits have changed. Not a biscuit, crisp or chocolate in months.

I'm going for a steep initial descent and a very soft glide landing.
