Justified - I thought there was a thread for this show somewhere already, but couldn't find it. Series wrapped up this past week. One of my all-time favorites TV Series. Always thought it was a bit slept on and ignored compared to other "Event type" television shows. Never got much awards buzz even though it was consistently one of the best written, acted and filmed shows on the air.

Rarely ever a weak episode in 6 years.

Thought the finale was perfect, for anybody who has seen it.

Just finally finished this series. I thought it was very good. But i did not start really getting into it until season 4. I started like Crowder better then. Rayland definately seemed to decline as each season went on. Harlan is such a drain on his soul. It's interesting. The most touching scene in all 6 season was when Mikey was killed. I dont know why that touched me so much, but it did. Good show all around.

Noble i recommend you watching Longmire. The character of longmire could very well be an Older Rayland Givens.

    The Genius DEMONRY!!

Show was a real surprise for me. Bunch of hillbillies gadding about in REED country smacked of a moderned up Walker Texas Ranger to me. Then I watched it and basically couldn't stop.

Olyphant was good in Deadwood and I like him here in a similar role. Goggins has been excellent since his performance as Shane in The Shield and he didn't disappoint here.

Agreed on the ending. One of the best endings for a tv series. Highly recommended.

That's pretty much the whole show right there condensed into 4 words. :bears:

We talked about it another thread tho. Check longmire. It's like what rayland would be like in his late 50s.

Yeah, my dad recommended it to me years ago but I never got around to it. Who carries that show?

I’ll add it to the list. For those who have seen them. How would you rate in order Justified, Succession, and Billions?

Justified goes top for me as I found the series in general more rewatchable. Billons is a very good series but would be below it for me. I’ve not seen succession.

Justified: City Primeval in production. Givens to make a return played by Olyphant. Will be keeping an eye on this.

Watched the first ep and moved on. Will probably give it another go soon. I was watching that Kevin Costner show but got sick of it.

Finished the series for the third time. Still brilliant and highly recommended. New one apparently releasing in June.

Hope it’s good because the ending of this series is one of the best I’ve seen even down to the short guitar melody played over the end credits.
