Sylvester Stallone vs Roberto Duran

Gotta admire Sly's honesty.

He could stop the cold war, but he couldn't stop Hands of Stone. Nuff said.

Sly was a paragon of male fitness and body image in the late 1970s abd early 80s.

He looks like a complete physical retard running about after Duran.... These boxers are just on a totally different level.

Back when action stars actually looked like action stars.

Now they look like brittle maricons.

Not really...Jumanji, Skyscraper, San Andreas, Rampage, etc...he hasn't had his Terminator, Rambo, Die Hard movie yet...

The Rock had a shit ton of charisma as a wrestler. Arguably the most charismatic wrestler OAT. As an ACTOR though, he's boring and unappealing as fuck.

He doesn't have a fraction of the screen charisma and presence as an Arnold or Sly.

Arnie and Sly were Ali and Joe of action stars.. Rock would be Vitaly. Effective I guess but very stiff predictable one dimensional and robotic.. it just feels like he's acting whereas arnie and sly actually came off authentic

This…

Robert Duran is one of the literally best ever boxer

Legendary action star talking about a legendary boxer. Love how much praise he gives to Duran.
