This is Ten Hag's fault. He should be aware that Haaland is good at the scoring of goals so he should have told his players to stop him from doing that.

 yeah. It's looking more and more like Haaland will become the first Premier League player to score 40 goals.

Apparently the first player to score three consecutive home hat-tricks? I was pretty sure he would bag his share of goals but not this quickly. It's like there was no adjustment period required despite a totally new team and tactics. Crazy.

Lewandowski tearing it up at Barcelona too is something i figured would take a bit longer especially considering his age.

I'm a bit fucked off. Was telling everyone to bet on Haaland to break the Prem season goalscoring record...and didn't do it myself

It's taken 8 league games for Haaland to score 3 hat-tricks. Next on the list is Michael Owen. It took him...48!

Yeah, Lewandowski is doing well. Top goal scorer in the league. I wonder who will score more between the two come the end of the season.

Lies. You told everyone not to because he wouldn't be given any space in the rough and tumble EPL. The quality and physicality would be too much for a guy who only previously scored goals against farmers.

Yeah, like I said. Wilson is absolute top quality. Unfortunately, his legs are made of Weetabix.

I've always considered Paul Scholes the greatest Premier League player ever, but will De Bruyne surpass him? Or has he already? Regardless of what you think of the pedestal I hold Scholes on, is De Bruyne a better player?

I get that the criticism of the comparison will be "haha two ginger midfielders in Manchester" bla bla bla, but they essentially play (or played) the same position for the most dominant team in the land and are utterly sublime footballers. The hair colour is a coincidence.

Halaand and Foden have become a terrifying duo, they truly have.

Foden overshadowed by Haaland but he was excellent too. He could have scored more than three. Their interlinking play and awareness is top class. De Bruyne's eye for a pass is just insane. Haaland himself is more than a goalscorer. He's a provider too. Man Utd were running around like headless chickens yesterday. Completely outplayed. For one of the goals (Citeh's sixth goal), there were six United players surrounding both Foden and Haaland, yet they couldn't get near the ball. Haaland found Foden and he calmly placed a shot past the keeper. Too easy.

Maddison played very well tonight. He can be inconsistent but he's a very good player on his day. Not sure why he's never had a proper look in with England, especially when the likes of Mount are in such poor form.

Is it safe to say Mount is the most overrated player in the Prem?

I think Mount is a good, solid player. He's usually consistent and does the job required from him (current form notwithstanding), but yeah I'd say anyone who has him down as an elite player is overrating him.

Isn't it the same thing as has been forever, i.e. playing for a "big club"? Sure there always can be more to it but i'm guessing if he was a 50+ million pound signing to one of them he would have gotten a closer look.

Yeah, this is the case for me and I think powers in control above Southgate influence his decisions too. Maddison has the most goals and assists combined of any English player in the League since May. He should be selected for England and should be starting given his current form.

I was listening to the radio earlier and there was a debate about whether Haaland is good for the Premier League or not. I was thinking...well not for opposition players as he's ripping them apart...but from a fans point of view...he absolutely is (unless he's scoring a hat-trick against your team). But you're still going to admire and respect his talent and ability to put the fear of God into whoever he's up against and the way he scores goals. I remember the season Leicester won the League and we were all like...will they do it...surely not. They were a breath of fresh air. It was something different from the norm of the usual suspects up at the top challenging for the title. With Haaland I think the vast majority of fans are going to want to see him break records. I mean, he's already doing it. Not just breaking records...he's SMASHING records and in no time at all. He's been in the League for 5 minutes  I think we're all rooting for him. Like Leicester that season...Haaland is a breath of fresh air. Something we've never seen before in the League.

NUFC had two bids for him rejected in the summer. £45m apparently. Strongly rumoured to be in for him again in January. Would be an excellent signing for us.
