I almost forgot this rematch is supposed to take place this weekend. I know many think this is a pointless rematch considering how lopsided the first fight was but I'm still curious to see how this goes and if Kambosos is fully confident in himself going in. He will really have to make some proper adjustments otherwise this will just be a repeat.

Is he actually good enough to make those adjustments though? It's easy to look at a fight and see all the things you did wrong or could have done better. If somebody loses in lopsided fashion it shows they couldn't make the adjustments when it counted. One training camp isn't going to reverse that.

I fully expect a retirement from boxing announcement from Kambo following the fight. Just a contractualized cashout fight. Then he’ll come out of retirement to do a few hometown exhibits, of course. But won’t be further competing at high level.

I had completely forgotten. Also, Wilder fights Helenius on PPV this Saturday.

Sure as fuck NOT ordering the PPV, but I'll watch the Haney-Kambosos rematch just to see Bosos get embarrassed again.

Haney needs a Tank fight to be exciting, not a Kambo rematch i think in my mind

That's not on Haney. He'll take a Davis fight.

Tank is the one w/zero ambition, and zero willingness to fight top opponents.

The only one with ambition named in this thread so far is Kambosos.

    You love hyping that bum.

He doesn't deserve credit for activating a rematch no one wanted to see in an obvious cash out.

    He's garbage.

Why not? It isn't like Haney, Davis, Garcia, Lopez are going to fight one another, and he isn't going to fight Lomancheko.

He fought the number one, then he fought the number two. Now he's fighting the number one again.

That's more ambition than Haney and Tank have ever shown.

I didn't say he was good. I said he was ambitious.

Kambosos better at least make a fight of it this time.

He was completely outclassed and embarrassed last time.

Why would a bum like him do exhibitions. I can understand legends like Mayweather or Chavez doing exhibitions for the fans. But somebody like Bumbozo would aussies pay to see that???

I just get the impression that he’s some kindof hero in Australia, I’m sure there’s enough wildly patriotic Aussies to turn up to see him beat up some bums in non-title fights.

He's a hero amongst the Greek community, which numbers around 200,000 in Melbourne - that's why he keeps fighting there and not his hometown of Sydney.

Otherwise, not so much, Tim Tszyu has a much bigger profile.

Kambosos was embarassed last time out.

Talked a load of mad shit, then missed weight, got wrecked, barely laid a glove on and got embarassed. No surprise he wants a different outcome.

Speaking of Tim Tszyu, the sadist in me would like to picture what Tim's dad would have done to Bosos.

Please do not be rude to me Xplosive.

At any rate Kambosos is not a front foot killer so he'll struggle to beat Haney, front or back foot.

    Kambosos isn't really anything.

He's a tough guy, with good conditioning. He's very determined. He's got decent hand speed but nothing crazy and probably fights as well going backwards, countering as he does going forward, pressuring.

He's a very average, can do everything okay but can't do anything great kind of guy.

He is usually an entertaining fighter though. I like that he's clearly willing to fight anyone, too.

Kam seems shook this time around. Not even close to his usual confident self.

Unless Kam shows the ability and WILLINGNESS to sell out and kill or be killed, its gonna be the same fight as last time. He cant out box, out think, or out strategize Haney. His only chance is to make this a FIGHT. I just dont think he’s good enough to do it.

Haney via clear UD in a slightly more competitive fight than last time.

While I'm not really sure I would label Bozo as an (usually) entertaining fighter, no doubt we have to respect his ambitions.

He easily could have went the ''big fish in a small pond'' route and face a series of stiffs down under. Instead, he was looking to fight Loma and agreed to fight Hainey, an high risk (relatively) low reward, situation. Maybe it's because he's not much of a draw, even in Australia, but he can't be accused of taking the safe route.

Kambosos took the haney fight because it was his best offer financially. He got the rematch clause in Australia

He leveraged his fluke victory over Lopez into 2 paydays
