Pretty sure it's more Stallone's doing. He's beefing with MGM over the franchise profits. I know he sold his rights when making the original but they shouldn't ice him out of an obviously overachieving franchise.

It definitely is a revealing trailer but it isn't a complicated storyline either.

No it was Jordan’s call. Stallone wanted to be in it. He isn’t beefing with MGM he is beefing with Irwin winkler

Where did you see any of that? Not doubting, just curious. I've been following the production of the movie since before the script was even written.

Here is the crazy part too. If you read Stallone's words carefully, he is almost insulting the creed Franchise. I will highlight in red the comments I feel can only be associated with Creed because who else could he be talking about?

“Another Heartbreaker… Just found this out…,” Stallone began in his caption. “ONCE AGAIN, this PATHETIC 94 year old PRODUCER and HIS MORONIC USELESS VULTURE CHILDREN, Charles And David, are once again picking clean THE BONES of another wonderful character I created without even telling me … I APOLOGIZE to the FANS, I never wanted ROCKY characters to be exploited by these parasites… By the way, I have nothing but respect for my true friend, Dolph Lundgren.”

Oh ok. I had read that previously. Winkler was trying to develop a Drago series so Stallone trashed it. I took it as that but "once again" defintely could point at the Creed franchise.

However, Stallone did write Creed 2. I thought he was referring to other things like merchandising. Interesting and sad at the same time. I'd rather Rocky be out of the Creed saga altogether than showing an on screen death.

I think Stallone was cool with creed as long as he could be in it and make sure things that go crazy. Btw dolph said if Stallone ain’t in it, he won’t be in it either.

I’m actually glad Stallone isn’t in it. This gives the movie its own arch.

Watched the trailer two times today and I like it. critically can’t wait to see it. also, Michael B. Jordan is a high-quality boxer. That man is a legend. he is surely going to win this fight. If he was able to win the fight in creed 2 then he can do it again. One issue I realize approximately Michael B. Jordan in the creed films is that he never gives up and he constantly receives back up on his ft. he is a proposal to absolutely everyone.

Damn bro how can you ruin a potentially good movie by watching low video quality bootleg version.

I love the theater experience. It's cheap and the place is usually empty if you go to early shows.

I agree so much more enjoyable at the theater. I'm not a comic book movie fan but watching the recent ant man movie at the movies wasn't too bad.

The movie has lots of CGi. Even the end the stadium they were fighting in was cgi. No doubt some of the people weren’t real. Looked like a video game

That fight scenes were shit.....they go from round 2 to 11...no built up no back and forth really. BS emotional reflection..

It could've been soo much better, the SAS segment...was so quick ended too soon.

It was entertaining enough but so far-fetched. I mean, they’re all far-fetched, but couldn’t they have had Dame’s character box in prison to make it a little more believable?

Jose Benavidez playing the HW champ was also a little hard to believe due to his size

It was better than Creed 2 but not by much. Jailed homeboy got PAID twice regardless of the outcome.

    Watch it in HD...slightly better.

After Dame won the title it went down a bit, during the SAS show he mentioned that Dame was talking a lot of reckless shit to anyone that would listen IT would been good if they show some of that shit talking...

Not here dame it's not the time....

Apollo would be ashamed of you..

Okay you want it you got it I CHALLENGE U!!! Run it run it...

    and that it....

Johnathon Majors STOLE the Show as "Dame", In Fact, the Movie Suffers a Bit for LACK of Screen Time Regarding Dame...He was THE Most Interesting Character Not Only in "Creed 3", But the Entire "Creed" Franchise...

Would've Liked to Have Seen More of Dame After His Heel Turn, Maybe a Title Defense or 2...

But as Is, REED Enjoyed "Creed 3"...The Friendship Between Dame and Adonis Seemed GENUINE, Both as Youths and as Grown Ass Men...In One Scene You're SYMPATHETIC Towards Dame, In Another You're FEARFUL of His Actions (the Fight w/Benavidez was Like Watching a Car Crash About to Happen) & In Another You're PISSED OFF @ Him...All the While, You Understand WHY Dame Does What he Does, Even if You Disagree w/his Methods...

The ARTSY Fight Scene was a Nice, Original Touch...Not Something that Needs to Become the NORM in Boxing Movies, But for This Particular Flick, This Particular Story Line, it was PERFECT...Donnie and Dame Locked Into a Prison of Themselves, Vying for Bragging Rights, Manhood and the Heavyweight Championship of Each Other...

It was a BALLSY Move by Michael B. Jordan, Especially as a 1st Time Director, but it WORKED in REED's Opinion...

    Good break down Reed.

I agree Majors stole the show but it wasn’t a very good movie. The acting, direction and visuals were spot on. The pacing, dialogue and execution of the story wasn’t. The best thing about the film was the fights and Majors.

Majors portrayal of Dame was impressive. He made him quirky and it really reminded me of Tom Hardy and had that similar style of acting he employees where he makes a lot of his characters quirky. Overall I felt I could have skipped this movie entirely and I wouldn’t have missed much and having seen it my opinion there hasn’t changed. I’ve seen all 3 of the Creeds only once and doubt I’ll be watching this one again either. Overall I think I liked part two the best of the three. 5/10.
