Crazy how winning 9/10 only puts you 1 point ahead (game in hand though). It's tough to keep up that pace with the PL being so damn competitive. That's why I don't respect clubs like Bayern, Juventus and PSG. They get to use their league games as practice for the champions league. La Liga is top heavy too with Barcelona and Madrid.

Everton with a much needed win over Crystal Meth Palace. After that three match losing streak, people were asking who will replace Lampard.

We needed a big win like this (convincing three goal win) in the worst way.

Man City is cheat code shit though mate, you literally have to have a record-breaking season to even compete with the cunts. Arsenal will not win the league this season but I will be rooting until the end for you guys to do it though. Need somebody challenging these bastards for however long. Would have no problem with it being Arsenal, who are in my opinion the only truly great London club.

Good for you guys really. Everton is a better club/squad than has been shown the last few seasons. I think Palace is going down. Leicester's fall from grace has been ridiculous too.

City is ridiculous. Give a decent manager unlimited funds and this is what happens. I don't expect a title this season, just top 4 but it won't stop me from hoping. There is little margin for error in regards to a title challenge. Haaland already getting preferential calls and treatment and he's not even half a season in.

In fairness City had several decent managers since the takeover but nothing like this domination. Take a great manager, have a recruitment strategy built around his game, and then throw in unlimited funds...

Agreed. It's not quite galacticos where they always try to sign the highest sought after "glamour" player at nearly every position. They usually get exactly what they want and need once they set their eyes on a target because of those funds.

Pep has a more defined strategy for sure but it doesn't mean that City doesn't approach or bid for the players that Barca, Madrid and P$G do. They just don't get a lot of them because players choose to go elsewhere because those clubs are "dream clubs" for many. Haaland was signed but he already has a 200 million release clause so that Madrid can poach him when the time is right.

Oh i know, i'm just saying they don't quite approach it exactly like Real Madrid or Barca do in that they will go to all extremes to sign whomever is considered the best and more importantly prestigious players available. I agree that Haaland will be at RM one day. Should he won the ballon d'or they won't even wait to make a move. If City reject the advances look for news stories about him being "unhappy" at the club for various reasons.

Aston Villa smashing the Bees. It's funny how often in team sports you see a manager get sacked and suddenly there is much improved play even though the guy taking over usually hasn't had time to implement anything. Seems to me the players just give more effort to make it appear it was the manager was somehow holding them back. If they continue to stink it's harder to place blame on the guy at the helm.

Arsenal really blew too many chances on goal. They should have won this one.

It’s cost Barca now, though. The club is in debt and their doesn’t appear to be much quality coming out of the academy.

Haaland would get Real another CL, that’s for sure. I hope he doesn’t go there anytime soon…

Indeed, but they brought it on themselves. After all the previous mismanagement they've now mortgaged a part of their future to make some marquee signings. The culture hasn't changed, only the finances.

We definitely need to be more clinical. Our bench is a problem. We have no game changers in attack. I'm happy with the defensive versatility. Eddie Nketiah is useless and I never supported them giving him the #14 shirt and 100KPW. Need a better second striker that can play both wings as well.

I said before the game that I would be happy with a point because the fixture pile up and Thursday-Sunday turnarounds are too much. If you told me we'd get through October beating Spurs and Liverpool and only drawing with Southampton, I would have taken that every single time. Need to finish strong and beat Forest.

No, I just like Newcastle beer lol. I think an underrated accomplishment was Pardew finishing 5th with Newcastle in 2013.

I almost became a Newcastle fan for that reason. Before they changed the recipe and moved to Holland then Chicago, it was my favorite beer.

    This is back in '03/'04

I was choosing between Liverpool, Man City & Newcastle. Then I heard about Everton. They were 16th in the table (I always root for an underdog.) My favorite color, royal blue and from Liverpool (Beatles fan.)

On my first trip to England ('04) I watched Everton-Spurs in a pub in Colchester. Everton schooled them. I knew that was the club for me.

Rangers have lost 5 on the bounce....has any team lost all their CL group games before?

Rangers are turning in what must be one of the WORST cl group stage performances ever.

Hey man, I’ll be the FIRST to tell you that Barca are in shambles… And I don’t see it being corrected any time soon. Tough times are ahead and God forbid some middle eastern tycoon comes and takes over any of the likes of Sevilla, Betis, or Real Sociedad…

I’ll just toast to the good times for the time being.

I think Nunez is a good player but I don't think he cuts the mustard for a team like Liverpool.

    I think Klopps a Clown..

TAA is not a full back. Joe Gomez can't defend and gave it away Vs West Ham. Allison saved him.

So here's what he should do....either drop them, or find new roles.

    Admit it's not working.

    Or finish 10th..

Liverpool having a poor but also strange season. Ease through CL qualifying and the only team to beat City in all competitions but struggling to handle lower tier sides.

Knocked out a PB mile today, 07m 53s

I haven't been running as much due to my old Garmin packing in and the constant rain etc

I was sure I had the new one set up for KM so I'm half way through, feeling fucking tired and wondering why this is so hard and then I see the final time.

All sorts of panic, been living a lie, false records etc.

    lol

I won’t be mad if Newcastle can hold on to that 4th spot as long as it keeps United and Chelsea out.

I think Klopp is a good manager but his stubbornness and refusal to try different tactics and schemes is costing Liverpool, it seems Teams are always adapting and changing things up. Gotta adapt and try new things.
