Loma coming out strong in round 5...Well he's throwing punches. He's touching Ortiz now...

Similar to 'Fimo, Ortiz is BIG & ATHLETIC Enough to Give Loma Trouble...Problem Is, Loma DOESN'T Have to Respect Ortiz's POWER as Much as he Did 'Fimo's...

Yes it's looking similar to that...I think Loma will figure it out soon enough and Ortiz won't know how to survive a knockdown/being hurt...

Loma landing more often and cleaner punches in round 6...Loma needs to keep jabbing..

The fact that Loma is getting touched up by an average guy like Ortiz tells me he would struggle against Haney. Haney is bigger, stronger and more athletic than Loma. Loma would struggle with Haney's jab. Just going by this fight.

Good close fight. Ortiz looks much more better than I expected and, win or lose, should be an interesting addition to lightweight. We have to be honest though, Loma's not a generational talent anymore

Haney's an INTRIGUING Fight for Sure, Based on What's Being Witnessed vs. Ortiz....

Like Ortiz, Dev WON'T Hurt Loma Either, But Without Even Looking at Punchstats, REED Would Say Dev's a BUSIER Fighter Than Ortiz...Fewer LULLS In Dev's Approach...And Yes, His Jab is a MOTHERFUCKER Also...

Not Sure if it was By DESIGN Or Not, But Ortiz Is Actually a Fairly Good Litmus Test for Loma, Prior to Facing Haney...

Didn't score it...but I feel like Loma won but it's close 8-4, 7-5...closer to the latter.

Don't think so...Haney doesn't like it when the opponent trade punches with him....lucky Loma doesn't like throwing too many punches..

You've still yet to answer what Haney has done to be favoured over Loma.

What did Fimo do to be favored over Loma going in?

I just think Haney-Loma will be a close fight. I'd be impressed if either dominated the other.

What IS clear from last night is that Stevenson is too much for Loma at this point.

It's Time for the ENTIRE Lightweight Division to Get Off its Collective ASS & Actually FIGHT Each Other...

Just Like Spence-Crawford, the Lightweight Division is Part of Boxing's PROBLEM...

    Teo wasn't favoured...

After last night, I don't think Loma would whitewash Haney anymore. I do think that the Loma who'd just moved up would though. Unless Haney improves, that won't change. I just don't think he's good enough.

Stevenson definitely is a large favourite now.

I don't think Shakur, Dev, and Loma have an issue with wanting to face the best.

Ryan and Tank are the pussies of the division.

I'm not sure that many people would care to see Ortiz fight those guys. I personally want to see them fight each other first. At the end of the day its obvious Loma has lost a step or two. Its not like Ortiz fought a prime Loma. I didnt see anything special with Ortiz. He was able to show us Loma struggled with bigger longer stronger more athletic types. That right hand was there all night for Ortiz. Haney would be a bigger problem for Loma.
