Borrowed from Ugo; and yes, these threads are because boxing is dead as shit. Which of the following guys does Khan have the best chance of lasting the distance with? The catch of course being, he's unlikely to go the distance with any of them: Duran Pryor Oscar Tszyu Leonard Mosley Curry Trinidad
Has to be Tszyu. His footwork wasn't special (although good) and he isn't the puncher Tito was. Also, Khan has a better chance of avoiding a right cross than a left hook
Yeah agreed. It's Tszyu, even though he has very poor odds of going the distance with Tszyu, it's the best chance he has out of this lot.
Definitely Tszyu. Mostly because Tszyu isn’t always super busy and maybe at least in spots Khan can out speed and evade him enough to go the distance though I think it’s unlikely. The rest of the those guys are either or all of simply too quick, too powerful, too dynamic, or too busy for Khan to have any chance at lasting the distance with them.
Leonard vs Khan would be ugly. Khan would go out quicker than Green did and in the same ugly fashion.
If we disregard Tszyu this gets tricky. Of course Khan's chances of survival would be less than 5% with all of them, but if I had to put money for someone I might go for Curry, since he had off-nights. Curry was smoother than Tito though and Tito would be my other option
I think you're talking less than 5% with either. Trinidad doesn't need the world's best footwork for Khan, when Khan's defense was horrendous.
Khan has a much better chance at lasting with Oscar or Curry than he does Tito IMO. Although, he isn't gonna be seeing half way vs any of them.
I think we might all agree that of the group, Khan has the least chance of going the distance with Leonard.
Yup. Agreed with the first sentence. Khan has no chance in Holy Hell of seeing the distance with Tito. It's his second worst odds behind Leonard.
I think after Tszyu, his best chance is against Oscar. Remote as all Hell, but a better chance than versus the rest of the list.
If Oscar is having an off night, Khan might be able to take a couple rounds off him but all Oscar needs is one good shot and Khan is out cold.
