Munguia's SIZE Was His Biggest Advantage vs. Sadam Ali for Certain, But Liam Smith and Gabe Rosado Also???...

REED Ain't Been Impressed w/Mungia SINCE the Ali Fight, But the Smith and Rosado Fights Weren't About SIZE Exclusively...Without Looking Up Their Respective Heights, Mungia is Probably TALLER, But Not BIGGER Than Rosado, Per Se...

    Rosado's Campaigned @ '68 if REED's Not Mistaken...

Munguia should have already been a 3-time champ like Randall Bailey

He might as well have faced former tennis elite Guillermo Coria.

It's sad because he seemed on exactly the right track as a kid.

Beat down Ali and Liam Smith back-to-back. Then, nothing. Absolutely nothing after that.

Sounds like he should have a "crossroads" fight with GGG, but i guess they're worried he isn't quite shot enough.

Sad, first fight I saw of Munguia 4-5-6 years ago I thought that neanderthal looking mejican is going to fuck up Canelo some day. :Barf: That day never came...

Him waiting/hoping to ‘cash out’ vs Canelo is exactly the reason he’s limping along like this.

What's Strange is Mexican Fight Fans, In Particular, DON'T Sweat Losses/GLOSSY, Undefeated Records the Way Other Nationalities/Races of Fans Tend to Do...

You Would THINK That Would Translate Into More Aggressive Matchmaking for Munguia...The Denis Hogan Fight Probably SPOOKED the Shit Out of Golden Boy Because as You Said, Munguia LOST That Fight for Certain...

I don't know what the fuck Golden Boy is protecting at this stage. Only hardcores like us know who Munguia is. It ain't like he's a name or cash cow.

    Time to sacrifice him.

Munguia is being sold a little bit short here and he got some decent wins for a (still) young kid. Nonetheless, he really needs to step it up in 2023. His win over a faded Rosado seemed like it was going to be his steppingstone to reach the next level, yet he has only fought 3 no-hoppers in meaningless fights since

Golden Boy's new partnership with DAZN, Munguia has a thrilling new platform to set up himself as one of the growing stars in the game.

Everyone Can APPRECIATE an Undefeated Record, But It’s Not as PERTINENT to Mexican Fight Fans, in REED’s Opinion…

Sure, They Loooooved it When Chavez was 87-0 or Whatever, But His Fandom DIDN’T Dip at All When He Drew with Pernell and Finally Lost to Frankie Randall…

Barrera Losing to Junior Jones Twice DIDN’T Hinder Him from Still Becoming a Mexican Fistic Legend…Canelo Wasn’t Hurt at ALL By Losing to Floyd…

REED’s Point Is, Mexican Fans are Less Likely to ABANDON a Fighter for Taking an L, Than Other Cultures of Fans Are…

Ruben Olivares started blowing hot and cold after his peak, and was still an icon in Mexico.

How Marketable Would Floyd Be Without His “O”? Do You REALLY Think Tank Davis Will Continue to Be a PPV Headliner When He Inevitably Loses???…

People BARELY Pay Attention to the Likes of Spence and Crawford as Is; Imagine if They Weren’t BOTH Undefeated???…You Think an UNDEFEATED Wilder Only Does 75k PPV Buys vs. Helenius???…

Pains REED to Admit It, But a Large % of Black Boxing Fans KICK Fighters to the Curb for Daring to Lose a Single Fight…REED Can’t Say He EVER Saw a Contingent of Muslim Fight Fans Until Prince Naseem, and Quite Frankly, REED Hasn’t Seen a Contingent of Muslim Fans SINCE Prince Lost…

Meanwhile, Orlando Salido and His 14 Losses Still Maintained a Degree of Popularity and Even Ran for a Political Office in His Homeland, if REED’s Not Mistaken…

Mexican Fight Fans DO NOT SWEAT L’s the Way Other Cultures of Fans Do, They Just Don’t…Doesn’t Mean They Won’t RALLY Around an 87-0 Guy, But They’re Not Going to Kick a Guy to the Curb After a Loss or 3 Either, Like Other Fan Bases Do…

Thats unfalsiable claims. Fact is that the most popular mexican fighter by far, was the one with the longest undefeated run. There's numerous fighters in other culture that were also super popular even after they lost their 0.
