Yuri Foreman faces Keith Holmes at 160. Who do you see taking it? I'd make Holmes the favorite (My homage to @Dog Jones )
I'd take Holmes too. He'd stick that jab in Foreman's face, keep moving and stay off the ropes. Foreman will tire out and later on in the fight, Holmes takes over big time and possibly stops a tired Foreman late.
Foreman had a good jab too though, and Holmes wasn't the physical type of a guy who would just steamroll him. It could be interesting for a while, but Holmes was the better fighter
Foreman did nothing outside of outbox a totally washed up and very inactive Daniel Santos. Keith Holmes was essentially a VERY poor man's Michael Nunn, but even still, he was much better than Foreman and beat better guys. I personally think Holmes just dominates him and knocks him out in about 8-9.
Yuri Foreman was promoted by Leonard early on. To hype him, I think Ray said: "Yuri would have beaten me in my prime." Like Jesus Christ, Ray, we know you gotta stretch the truth to sell the fight, but we know you don't really believe that.
Yeah, very rare. Can't think of two many who fought in a weight class for a very long period of time and chose to go down. Chris Byrd is the only other one that springs to mind at the moment.
