Long, "good" primes

We very often talk about guys who had short, yet brilliant primes, I.E. Tyson and Pryor, but how about guys who had long, solid primes, but were never great at any point?

    Who comes to mind?

Btw, we'll stipulate a "long" prime as 4 years or more.

Genaro Hernandez would be an example. Consistently very good throughout the 90s, but wasn't quite good enough to be considered a great.

In more recent years, Danny Garcia comes to mind.

Stayed a good fighter for a very long time, but simply lacked the ability to be a true true elite in the sport.

John Ruiz fits. He was a top-10 level player for a decade

I’d go with Cotto. Very good but short of great. Yeah he had highs and lows but remained close to the top for a long while.

I'm thinking about lower level guys than Cotto. Like non-HOFmers.

Miguel Angel Gonzalez fits. He had a very solid, but unspectacular prime from 92-96.

Wilfredo Vazquez also fits. Was a good fighter for a long time, but never a brilliant prime.

Actually, there is a HOFmer who fits well here. Daniel Zaragoza. Long, good prime, but never a great. I dunno why TF he's in the Hall, but whatever.

Corley???? Chop Chop had a very short prime. He was a journeyman longer than he was a good fighter.

Judah actually belongs here. Zab's prime lasted nearly a decade, I would say 99-07. After the beating Cotto gave him in 07 he was the never the same again.
