We're quite lucky where we are...nobody behind us so can stand/drink to hearts content. Two nice lads from belfast to our right who are sound and infront and to the left is just a big extended family of fathers, brothers, cousins, etc so they're pretty well behaved. Everyone likes a song but minimal bammery. We've one absolute nutbar in our section who somehow manages to smuggle in a whole crate of tennants every week - looks like neil lennons younger cousin and has a Tennants tattoo(!)- but he's just far enough away that his antics and improvised solo chants are entertaining rather than a bother.

Says a lot about sah say atee that the person's and mannerisms that one is surrounded by on a weekly basis at a fitbaw game are less changeable, less changing and better mannered than ones own street, town or country. A great oasis in a sea of "change".

Ps nutbar mateyboy almost certainly "knows" somebody as I had my little Aldi-edition cycling bag searched by a fella who looked like he hadn't eaten in a month. Still have the "searched" tag on it, the same one which drew the attention of the obese fella outside the kebab joint on King Street :Jest:

I see that an ole firm match is coming up on Jan. 2. Hopefully the huns get smashed at home, but their offense is admittedly more free flowing under Mickey Beale.

I hope Beale gets a really shit Christmas present this year. Goes on a bit of a shit run with us after a good start when we are still in and around the playoff places and then jumps ship to the nasty Rangers. Literally weeks after proclaiming his dedication to the QPR "project" and how he wants to stamp his mark. I can't even muster the energy to be angry, just disappointed.

Holy fuck, just seen the Craig Gordon injury photo (unintentionally). Awful shit, that looks like career over.

Ive been trying my best to avoid them. Spookily, two of the topics which came up in the pub on thursday were: worst leg breaks you've ever seen; craig gordon still easily the best goaly in Scotland. Feel like we cursed him. Cant see him coming back at his age, time to hobble off into the sunset

West Ham initially unlucky, then destroyed once Arse got their confidence going.

Trent still cannot defend. Got an assist-assist today but at fault for Watkins goal....

Newcastle's fans believe. They were raucous at Leicester today.

Everton better be careful or the relegation they so narrowly avoided last year will get them this year.

Brighton continue to surprise especially after the departure of the man supposedly responsible for their great success who himself continues to struggle at Chelski.

Southampton really look like a club totally out of ideas and hope....years of selling their best players has bit their ass.

Kane's rehabilitation has begun in earnest. Always nice to see the system working ....smfh

There's also a burgeoning anti Darwin Nunez campaign. Nothing special or particularly insidious.... Just one of those pile-ons one sees in the press these days when a given player is struggling or having more chances than goals....

Happy that United missed out on Gakpo but that means they will probably pursue Joao Felix. Arsenal needs to sign him ASAP. AND also bring in Mudryk. That should happen soon because the kid already showed he was watching the Arsenal game on his computer.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle all looked very good today I have to say. Despite going behind, once Arsenal got their first it was one-way traffic. Spurs did a Spurs. Looked shite for however long and then once Kane scored they dominated. I think if Arsenal can get a result against City (not sure when they play), then you have to consider them bona fide title contenders. Same with Newcastle to an extent if they are still within touching distance after all the games in hand are sorted. They're playing great but 2nd is a little bit of a false position as things are. Arsenal though are building a bit of a cushion and it puts some much needed pressure on City. I still pick City to win it but I like that it's interesting, I thought the title race would be a procession at this stage due to the form City and Haaland are in.

City are still the champs until someone displaces them. Arsenal can do it but we haven't even played all of the teams once yet. IF we come out of this stretch of Brighton, Newcastle and City still at the top, then it's a genuine challenge. Hoping Leeds get a result against City tomorrow.
