Since the ONLY fight I watched on 2022 was the Canelo vs Bivol (because I had a feeling Canelo might lose), I am in the dark about 2022 best boxing fights. So post here your top 5 and fight of the year so I can check them later. Thank you yours truly, a former boxing fan who had enough of bad decisions and diva boxers handpicking their safe opponents.
2022 was horrible. Bivol schooling Canelo was one of the highlights. Errol’s performance against Ugas was good too, and Charlo did his thing in the rematch against Castaño. I’ve watched more futbol this year than anything else.
Dreadful year. For what wasn't already mentioned there was Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2. Not exactly a classic but relevant and was about as interesting as a heavyweight fight can be these days.
We've seen people school Canelo....that wasn't the highlight. Bivol getting the decision was the highlight
Parker Vs Joyce?? Good fight and would have adorned any era. Not a classic but good. As for Joshua ...Significantly, at least before he lost his fucking mind, it put Joshua back in the mix despite his losing again. Chisora and Whites and Parker's stock dipped more and Joshua still in the mix therefore. The HW division is at least getting the fights made.
NONE Of The ABOVE… Our Sport Deserved ZERO Award Nominees/Winners in 2022…And Since Everybody Fucking KNOWS It, WHY the Lame Ass FORMALITY???… To Be Clear, REED Seriously AIN’T Trying to Shit on the Spirit of Panchy’s Thread (FOR REAL), But 2022 Was Literally THE WORST Year of REED’s Boxing Life… REED
I'll take REED's assessment: every bout mentioned before sounds less than stellar. So I'll take that I really didn't missed anything on 2022 as the 'big one', Canelo vs Bivol, I had already watched. Thanks everyone!
