The NFL has a big long-term problem. More and more parents are saying their kids will never play. Hell, I don't want my kid ever playing. It's not something that's gonna be felt in the short-term, but long term we may live to see the day in a decade or two that the NFL starts to die.

 

I don’t even watch the nfl anymore but I saw the highlight of this and I have this nagging feeling that he’s already gone…

Don't like the NFL rearranging the playoff structure. Game should have been called a tie and and considered a full game. Both teams trained all week, then traveled and showed up on Sunday.

I was wondering, is anyone else like me and kind of desensitized to this from all the years of watching boxing? So many fans seemed shocked, but I just thought mostly it was sad.

It was kind of a reminder of just how incredibly violent and vicious boxing is.

I don’t think it will go away but it may gradually become more of a niche sport.
