My Broncos not only won a game but it wasn't a one score game. Record: 4-10 Record in one score games: 3-9 including three losses in OT.
helluva day of college football playoff games. bigtime choke by the OSU kicker, although it was a long kick. for all the shit day talked about cutting loose he was too conservative at the end. shoulda tried to get closer for that FG in other news CJ Stroud AND Bryce Young looked GREAT today. both upped their draft stock which is good news for the bears!
Chargers are winning the battle for Los Angeles. This was supposed to be the late game but NBC flexed the Steelers-Ravens.
That game was literally a carbon copy of the 2002 game when Joey Cortez botched a chip shot but got bailed out in OT
Uhh Buffalo Bills safety Hamlin collapsed and may have died on the field, MNF game is suspended https://mobile.twitter.com/ABsneurosurgeon/status/1610093690210643975 This is right up there with another Buffalo tragedy, the Clint Malarchuk throat slash
ESPN studio crew kept saying they are just waiting for a positive update soon. He needed CPR & defibrillation on the field. It's going to be a long time before anyone can say he's in the clear.
BTW, once this story goes international, look for a crazed Irishman to come in here and start spouting bullshit conspiracies about vaccines.
The NFL has a big long-term problem. More and more parents are saying their kids will never play. Hell, I don't want my kid ever playing. It's not something that's gonna be felt in the short-term, but long term we may live to see the day in a decade or two that the NFL starts to die.
I don’t even watch the nfl anymore but I saw the highlight of this and I have this nagging feeling that he’s already gone…
Hamlin facetimed his teammates. Great for all involved after all of that terror. Don't like the NFL rearranging the playoff structure. Game should have been called a tie and and considered a full game. Both teams trained all week, then traveled and showed up on Sunday.
Great news that he’s doing better. Hopefully he can recover and live a normal life. I was wondering, is anyone else like me and kind of desensitized to this from all the years of watching boxing? So many fans seemed shocked, but I just thought mostly it was sad. It was kind of a reminder of just how incredibly violent and vicious boxing is. I don’t think it will go away but it may gradually become more of a niche sport.
