Aye thanks. Remember i got started in June so I'm only 5 months out from that. Hope to run my first 20k this Summer.

I think I'm about 208lbs right now. Christmas :Jest:

    Nowt lucky about it.

I found a lump on my sternum which turned out to be a "Xiphoid Process" common in men over 40. I might have aggravated it using a big axe to chop firewood.

The thing is it's easy to get hurt and its easy to get distracted and blown off course. I could feel my arse getting fatter and had two bottles of prosecco on new years :Jest: that dried me out.

I remedied it by focusing on running single fast miles and then putting them together at a slower pace.

Even today this birds dog was having a go at me, around the 30 minute mark, and i contemplated quitting when i had to stop to let her catch and leash the dog.

Shit like that. Very easy to say "well done mate, take yourself home".

2012 I think, when City beat us 3-2 on the final day, last minute Aguero goal and all that. Beat United to the title on GD.

There have actually been a few 1-point title races in the Premier League era, Blackburn '95, Arsenal '98 (although to be fair they'd already wrapped it up a couple of games before), United '99, Liverpool of course were on the wrong end of a couple in recent seasons. Quite surprising there has only been one season decided by GD.

Liverpool would have lost out on GD in 2014 were it not for the Palace 3-3. I still don't understand why they get stick for that result, they were 3-0 up and knew they had to try and get more goals to have any chance of winning the league due to City's GD. Obviously left themselves open for the counter which Palace took advantage of, but they had to go for it.

Was that last year? That was the only time they finished 2nd by 1 point.

Last year and 2019 Liverpool finished a point short of City. 2014 they were 2 points off because of the draw with Palace but would have lost out on GD if they'd won that game.

It's nice to see the Arsenal-Man U matches become meaningful again, don't think any rivalry has matched it in the Prem era, with the exception of City-Liverpool in recent years (but they didn't have the animosity).

FUCK YEAH GUNNERS!!! 50 points at the halfway point of the season. I'm guessing 90 points wins the league.

Really rooting for you guys, hope you can do it. Everton and Brentford next, gotta win those (I would rest everyone for the cup tie v City). Then it's City in the league. If you get max points from the aforementioned games and get even a draw v City, then you have to really start believing it'll happen.

The result today was a big one psychologically. Man U have had a big stranglehold in those games since 2006, you can count the Arsenal wins in that fixture on one hand. They needed to get over that hurdle.

Lots of trap games coming up. I honestly don't care about the FA Cup this year. Play the kids in Europa and the FA Cup. All in on the league.

Brentford have become one of those banana skin clubs since getting promoted, so yeah I wouldn't count those chickens, but all things being equal Arsenal should win comfortably as they did earlier in the season. With no disrespect to the Everton fans here, they're a great club and one I respect massively, they are a total shambles right now and Arsenal should absolutely win that match on current form.

Sour grapes and all but if Arsenal win the league with fewer points than Liverpool finished 2nd with twice....I'll be pissed. Just being honest..

Not to worry, should Arsenal win the title they plan to acknowledge the discrepancy and had the trophy over to Liverpool.

Arsenal really are looking like the real deal. They're so good going forward and have so many weapons. Ramsdale pulled out some top saves too. Isn't Jesus fit now? How do you bench Nketiah with the form he's in?

Some game yesterday. Man utd rode their luck something rotten vs City, it would've been mad if they'd come away with something from this one as well

Still fancy City. Even with their improved squad, Arsenal still need a injury unhampered run until March/April, a bit like Leicester when they carried themselves over the line during their wonder year..

Sellik buy Juranovic at 26 for £2.5m. Sell him at 28 for £10m. Replace him with a 23 year old World cup international for £3m.

If we can repeat that trick 3, 4, 5 times a season, consistently, even if it means only keeping players for a year or two, thats how we inch the turnover back up closer to Benfica, Ajax etc. At which point gradually start converting those player trades from 3 in, 10 out to 6 in 15 out with improved quality. Etc. Literally the only route available to us. Ange gets it, even if a lot of fans don't.
