This is the biggest fight to be made after Crawford vs Spence. Both guys coming off have pretty much dominated most of their fights. How do you see this fight going if they make the fight happen this year? Will it be a highly competitive war or a one-sided beat down?

I think AB is better. I was hesitant because I thought he had slipped, but he still appeared as sharp as ever last night.

I dont think Bivol can beat a top of his game Beterbiev.

So Bivol is better than a prime Jones, huh?

I’m one of those that think that AB’s skills is severely underrated and I still think that he can match DB in the ring IQ department. People constantly sleep on AB’s boxing skills and intelligence just because he brutalizes and finishes off every opponents.

I think at this rate you have to favor Bivol.

Beter didn't look diminished against Smith. If Beter is his vintage self, I think he beats Bivol.

He looked aces against Smith but gotta remember that he’s already 37 pushing 38 in a few months. He also had a recent injury that ended up postponing the Yarde fight. Sooner or later age will catch up to him. If he wipes out Yarde and looks like the same monster then we definitely have an interesting 50/50 fight.

This training routine by Beterbiev is pretty bad-ass. The traditional Russian style has been to build up the forearms to get weight behind the shots and to utilize the wrist when punching.

I seem to be in the minority, but I think Bivol is a bit overrated. That doesn't equate to "oh he's trash!" No, he's an excellent fighter, but getting a tad overrated.

The Beterbiev from a few years ago who took apart Gvozdyk would stop Bivol imo.

Whether or not Arthur can be that guy again, I'm not sure. But I see him as better than Bivol, when both are at their bests.

i think beterbiev's defensive lapses are one reason some favor bivol. if there's a reason to favor beterbiev, it's his ability to walk through fire to deliver his own punishment. but yarde was outboxing beter in spots, making him miss and countering him. you can bet bivol would capitalize even more.

I didn't see the fight yet. Maybe Beter is losing a step.

I think he could beat him but no way he stops him. Bivol couldnt stop a little guy(middlewieght Canelo).

It was an excellent fight. The fact that Old Kovaleb beat Yard is impressive.

This was an excellent episode btw. It was energetic with a clear structure and most of all the description of the fight, as well as the prediction, were spot-on, even though I pick Bivol myself

Might be way wrong here but I fancy Bivol to win handily. He's so mobile at the weight not just laterally but with his punching range, i think its a tall order for anybody with Beterbiev's style to bridge that and bridge it often enough to take rounds. Timing, feints and range can overcome speed but what happens when the faster guy is even better at all that. Im not saying it'll be as one sided but 'Mayweather-Corrales' is coming into my mind

Yeah, I'm picking Bivol big. Arthur is just a bit too pedestrian to get to him

Fuck it! Give me Beter. If Bivol proves me wrong, I'll give him full credit.

I wish Beterbiev had fought more. At 175, I'm not betting against him until his decline is obvious. I don't think it is now.
