Yeah, Duran has to be #1 in this category. Never seen anyone better at feinting. Morales was elite at feinting. Not as good as anyone in this top 10, but good enough to make the HMs.

Fury simply doesn't have the skill level of anyone on this list, but yes, he's very good at feinting.

To an extent. He's much better than most a similar size. But as far as heavyweights go, I doubt he'd crack my top five. He's not better than Louis or Walcott; nor would I say he's better at it than Usyk or Holyfield. There's an argument to be heard whether or not Tyson used feints; but in my mind, deception with body language in a boxing match, is feinting. And Mike did that much better than Fury does it.

A guy not mentioned, but an excellent feinter was Kunaki Shibata. Shibata was an extremely good technical fighter anyway, albeit fragile, but he really was technical mastermind on offense.

Whitaker and Duran have to be in the top tier.

    I’d add Frazier.

Hearns has already been mentioned but it can’t be stated enough how good he was at feinting.

Jersey Joe Walcott was the first guy who came to mind, he wouldn't just feint with his hands but his feet, rhythm, direction. Totally unreadable

    That's a good ten George.

I've always rated Gavilan, Locche, SRR and Marcel near the top. Benitez too.

Out of the old timers, Driscoll, Gans, McFarland, Midget Wolgast and Benny stand out to me in what footage we have. Maybe Mike Gibbons too.

A mod on ESB likened his style to a nightmare that put you to sleep.

Long time ago, a man from Texas was terrorizing featherweights from both shores of the Rio Grande. Short, bald and stocky, the fact he didn’t look the part was the first « feint » he was pulling on his opponents. A master, I assure you. So good he was that greats like Steven Dejesus and Joey Napoles went to his gym to learn from him. He could do it all but most of all, feinting was one of his main strategy. For example, he fooled people into thinking he was about to punch and quickly went on to bite the nipple of his opponent, like he did to a recalcitrant patron at the River Oaks strip club. Another example, Juan Diaz, who has perfected the feint-rib roaster technique like no one. No one, no, it all came from the man I’m talking about : Karl Hegman. No top ten list is complete without him. How do you think Steven Dejesus was able to deal with Duran’s feints? He had been in a ring with Stinger Karl himself, seeing a master at work and learning from it. As I’ve said, no top ten list is complete, or even credible, without Karl Hegman on it, a great boxing has forgotten unjustly.
