You're going to concede goals when all your defenders are doing are standing there admiring the opposition's work, instead of anticipating what could happen and trying to deal with the situation. Makes life easier for the opposition.

 

Klopps never been a defensive coach. He needs a defensive coordinator guy in there. In 2019 we conceded so little cos we were able to make the other guy think about defending.

I can't really add anything more to what has already been said about the Liverpool match and performance yesterday. I agree with the likes of Carragher and Henry that it seems some of the players just don't have the legs to play with the intensity Klopp's sides like to play with any more. Happens to every team eventually, the key is whether Klopp can get the right replacements in.
