Arsenal has lost to the US team before. It's preseason so no one gives a fuck. Including the players.

I guess Arsenal doesn't play at Sofi stadium in LA because it's a turf field. Kroenke owns both the club and the stadium.

Hope they make it out to Vegas one summer. Chelsea did and I hated seeing bandwagoners.

Speaking of MLS, the Atlanta United side is actually fun as fuck to watch this year. They play at a really high level, and I previously mentioned their best player, Thiago Almada. I'd have to think this is his last year in Atlanta. He's too good for the U.S. He belongs in one of Europe's top 5 leagues.

Bayern lost to the MLS All Stars back when Guardiola was with them.

Saudi Arabia beat Argentina on the biggest stage in the world. No lack of motivation in that one. You can 'interpret' the result of any match the way you like.

The good bad and ugly from England so far. Rice just got left standing there. A decidedly overrated player unless he's trundling about or defending the most set of set pieces. Put him on his toes and he'll find somewhere to sit down, fast.

62 minutes gone. Dion Dublin wonders if "tired minds" aren't playing a part.

When Southgate chases a game, he pulls Foden. When he tries to see a game out, he throws on Foden. It could work but why bother!! Just start the guy.

I know its the most unimaginative name.... imaginable. Its beside 'Connollys' next door, too. I guess it lets passing punters know what's in the tin and you can probably order 'Murphys' pub signs direct from a factory in Vietnam.

I happen to know the guy who owns it & he's always offering me free passes to this or that event which i normally turn down - a dinner speech by Charlie 'sit-yay-ation' Nicholas? Erm Im busy that month. A Christy Moore tribute act? Is that a thing? But i could listen to Martin O'Neil talk all day so im pretty game for that.

It would be funny if they all used the same sign too. Tourists walking around would think it was a chain.

How these cunts thought anyone in the current economic climate would pay £7 per month for their insight is beyond me. £1 is still too much.

    In any economic climate.

Information is free (in a sense), in fact there's probably too much of it. It travels around the globe (alleged shape) instantly. So in essence what some media outlets are asking for is you to pay them for their slant on it. Imagine you're at the pub and somebody says, "you know what i think", and then tries to charge you for their hot take before they will tell you.

If they have 'exclusives' who long does that status last if it has any relevancy?

Good to see wee Mikey Johnston doing well for Ireland. Still don't think he's gonna make it at sellik unfortunately but hopefully this helps get him a decent move. He's got all the tools but he seems to have confidence/composure issues which lead his decision making to be poor. Surrmountable...maybe

Reminds me of this Jackie Mason sales pitch.....here, Jackie informs you that he and the "prominent divorce attorney Raoul Felder " got the inside-baseball scoop on the stories, they got the information you can't get anywhere else :Jest:

Sports journalists are the ultimate clowns. They actually believe that their opinions have meaning. This is the era when anyone can turn on a webcam or microphone and blab away. Yes, I do the same but I'm not deluded to believe it has any importance. Just grateful for anyone who listens lol.

Interesting thing is that if the goal had been ruled out, would the shot on target have counted as a shot on target for the purpose of the bet?

After all, the whistle had not been blown, the play was ongoing.

Good player. Lawell let Villa steal him squabbling over 300k on a 3m fee. Celtic season ticket holder, desperate to come. Tierney was pushed out the same summer then Rodgers followed when he realised he was captain of a ship afrift without sails or motor. Lawell posted his ~£15m profit for the year tho so he got his bonus.

Because you're only allowed losses of £105 million over a three year period as a PL club. The dipshit owners and board lost £365 million over the last three years.

I follow Mirror Football on Facebook. So I get a free article pop up about every 45 seconds. When Ronaldo came back to Man U they wrote a story about him about every eighteen seconds.
